General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, December 23 Recap – Sam’s Cold-Hearted Julian Goodbye – Sasha Kisses Brando

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 23, reveal that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) talked at the hospital. Sasha accused Brando of following her, and she said that he should go away, and that she’s not his problem anymore. “Actually, you kind of are,” Brando said.

Elsewhere at the hospital, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) convened after Kevin played the part of Santa Claus for the kids. Laura reminisced about when Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was young and how much she loved the holidays.

Laura and Kevin said that they were going to visit with Lulu tomorrow for Christmas.

Near the elevators, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) talked with Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) after having identified Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) body at the morgue.

Sam and Lucas talked about their complex feelings for Julian, and their feelings of relief and sadness over his passing. Sam said that Julian didn’t get what he wanted, but he definitely got what he deserved.

At the Corinthos house, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) talked near the fire, while Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) gazed at the Christmas tree.

Soon, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) entered the foyer, obviously having not found Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Carly decided to be strong for her family, and neither she nor Jason let on to anyone that something happened to Sonny. After a while, Michael asked when Sonny would be home, and Carly said that Sonny had gotten caught up in business and wouldn’t be home tonight.

In a moment alone, Carly told Jason that she wasn’t going to tell anyone about what happened until they’ve checked everywhere for Sonny.

Jason then got a message from Sam about having to identify Julian’s body, and Carly urged Jason to go to Sam. Later, Lucas arrived, and he and Michael talked. Michael asked Lucas to be a part of Wiley’s life again – as his Uncle Lucas. Lucas was truly touched, and he went inside and got reacquainted with Wiley happily.

After Willow mentioned something about Sonny to Carly, Carly got upset and went outside, where she broke down sobbing. Jax came out and asked what was going on, and Carly said, “It’s Sonny. I don’t know where he is. I don’t even know if he’s alive.”

Jax looked horrified. Eventually Carly composed herself and came back inside, where she regrouped and interacted with her family some more.

Soon, the phone rang, and Carly got word that the cops were on the premises. Carly went to the door and looked out, seeing the flashing lights reflect on the glass.

Back at the hospital, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) walked in with some assorted presents for the geriatric patients, and he bumped into Laura and Kevin there. After some conversation, Kevin and Laura invited Martin to join them at Kelly’s for dinner. Martin accepted.

Elsewhere in the hospital, Jason found Sam, who wanted to know if Jason had killed Julian. Jason said no, and that Julian had been shot by someone else.

Sam said that the kids were upset when Jason wasn’t there to hang stockings, and she invited Jason to come by and stay overnight, so that he could sleep on the couch and wake up with the kids. Jason agreed.

At Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) place, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrived.

Turns out, Molly bailed out Alexis from jail, and she warned Alexis not to ruin this holiday with TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) family. Soon, Alexis was inside talking with Jordan about cooking secrets, and Molly got upset, thinking that perhaps Alexis was going to reveal her cheating secret.

As Molly and TJ entertained themselves, Alexis snuck up to the little bar and poured vodka into her mug several times during the evening. Meanwhile, Jordan texted Curtis, who wasn’t there, asking him to come home.

Jordan told everyone that Curtis was on a job and running late. Alexis mentioned Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) being alive, which shocked Molly and TJ.

Molly and TJ quickly learned about how Jordan kept Taggert’s faked death a secret from Curtis, and Jordan revealed that Curtis didn’t come home last night.

Jordan left to go track down Curtis, and Molly checked Alexis’ mug and determined that she was drinking. Molly blasted Alexis and made her leave, then she told TJ that all the lies their mothers have been telling is too much.

Molly then decided to tell TJ the truth about her affair with Brando. “TJ, there’s something I need to tell you,” Molly said. “But before I do, and whatever happens next, I love you.”

Outside, Alexis waited for her ride share, and when she checked her phone, she saw an Invader article saying that Julian was dead. Alexis dropped her phone in horror.

At Kelly’s, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) saw Curtis, and immediately Trina attacked, thinking that Curtis knew that her dad had been alive. Curtis explained that he, in fact, hadn’t known.

Trina didn’t understand how Jordan could keep that from Curtis. Portia then sent Trina into Kelly’s to pick up some pies, while she and Curtis talked.

After some back and forth about Jordan’s secret and deception, Portia wondered if Curtis was willing to listen to Jordan’s reasons for what she did, or if he’d already passed judgment. “I know the correct answer,” Curtis said, “but I’m not there yet.”

Later, Laura, Kevin, and Martin had a nice dinner together at Kelly’s as they got to know each other.

In the park near the ice rink, Brando and Sasha talked. Sasha was hostile, accusing Brando of stalking her, but Brando said that he happened to be going in the same direction as Sasha.

Brando and Sasha talked a bit about Brando’s childhood, and Sasha started to become a little more civil. Soon, Sasha and Brando walked under a mistletoe, and Sasha kissed Brando on the cheek, then walked off. Brando seemed happy.

Finally, Curtis was brooding in the park when Jordan came along and spied him. Curtis looked at Jordan but didn’t say anything, and Jordan looked sad and concerned.
