General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, December 9 Recap - Martin & Cyrus Are Brothers - Epiphany Warns Jordan About Taggert

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 9, reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) bumped into Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) in the park.

Willow and Sasha talked about Sasha and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) fake affair, and Willow lamented that Sasha had been her first true girlfriend and then it all disappeared.

Willow wondered what was next for Sasha, and Sasha said that there was still a place for her at Deception. Willow suggested counseling groups, but Sasha didn’t think that sounded like something for her. Ultimately, Willow said that Sasha should always hold onto the fact that she helped to save a little boy from an evil monster.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) entered the den to find Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) working. Michael said that he couldn’t forgive Carly for keeping the truth about Sasha and Chase’s affair from him.

Carly urged Michael not to rush things right now, and to take the time to decide what the best move for him and everyone involved was.

Later, Willow arrived and told Michael that she saw Sasha in the park. Michael perked up a little and asked how Sasha was. Willow thought that Sasha seemed better than she has been in a while, and she said that no matter what happened, she wanted to remain close to Michael. Michael said that he wanted that, too.

At Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) place, Curtis wanted to go over the evidence from the medical supply facility to figure out their next move.

Ultimately, Curtis decided to go look for medical records on Gordon and Florence Gray from when they lived in Port Charles. Curtis took off, then Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) arrived.

Epiphany told Jordan that she has a big problem, and that Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) is asking all sorts of questions about Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) death.

Epiphany also mentioned that Taggert has been shadowing Trina and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). Jordan was horrified, and she worried that her marriage could fall apart if it comes out that Taggert’s alive.

At the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to quiz Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Diane started firing questions at Martin, who stalled and talked around the questions for a while. Pretty soon, Sonny said that if Martin didn’t answer the questions, he’d have to assume that Martin was involved with the bombing.

“You’re wrong, I have no idea what my brother has gotten into,” Martin said. Martin then started pouring information, saying that his brother took “Renault” as his surname, and that at some point after a period of estrangement, Cyrus wanted to reconnect.

Martin wanted no part of that, but then he said their mother fell ill and when she ran through her insurance, Cyrus started paying her expenses.

Martin took off, and Sonny said that this was a start, but that he had to find out what else Cyrus was hiding. Meanwhile, over at the gun range, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was shooting when Cyrus appeared in the booth next to hers.

Laura asked Cyrus to leave Port Charles, and he said that he couldn’t – he had personal reasons for staying.

Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) came up in conversation, and Laura said that Lulu was in a good facility downstate. Cyrus mentioned that he knew of some good care facilities in Vermont if Lulu needed a new place to convalesce.

After Cyrus walked off, Laura called Curtis, who soon materialized. Laura said that Cyrus volunteered information about care facilities in Vermont.

That struck a chord with Curtis, and he quickly checked to see if the Mexican medical supply company shipped to Vermont, and lo and behold it did – to one care facility called Mountain Landing Long Term Care. “Florence Gray, here we come!” Laura said.

At Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) place, Sam cried and said that she and the kids couldn’t do this anymore.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) wondered what Sam meant, and Sam went on about how when Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) nearly died in the explosion, that was her breaking point. Sam said that the hard truth was that this wasn’t working for their family anymore.

After a lot of back and forth about her brother’s death and Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) death, Sam said that she has to do what’s best for the kids. Jason said that he wants the best for the kids, too, and for Sam.

Jason said that if it’s best for him to leave, then he will because the kids have to come first. Just then, Jason’s phone rang, and it was Sonny. Jason declined the call.

Sam and Jason cried together, saying that they didn’t want it to be over, but that there was no choice now. Jason’s phone rang again, and he declined the call again. Then Sonny called Sam’s phone, and she answered and handed the phone to Jason. Sonny asked Jason to pick him up at the Metro Court.

“You have to go,” Sam said. Jason said that he loved Sam and that he always would, and Sam returned the sentiment. Jason left, and Sam collapsed onto the couch and cried.

Meanwhile, back at the Metro Court, Sonny told Carly about Martin and Cyrus being brothers and about his out-of-town trip with Jason.

Just then, Cyrus walked in and offered condolences for Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) death. “I hope there are no misunderstandings as a result,” Cyrus said. “When I find out who’s responsible, I’m going to have all my facts straight,” Sonny replied.
