General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, February 5, tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will voice his concerns. He just came home to find Peter August (Wes Ramsey) happily playing with Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love), who was the superhero while Peter was fittingly the bad guy. Finn looked unnerved by the sight of Peter bonding with his daughter, so he’ll share his fears with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) on Wednesday.
Finn will point out that Anna left Peter alone with Violet, but Anna may not see the big deal. She just stepped in the other room for a few minutes, and she’s truly convinced herself that Peter’s trying to be a better man.
Anna won’t think Finn’s worries are reasonable, but he’ll disagree. There are sinister suspicions swirling around Peter, so he’s not the kind of man Finn wants around his little girl.
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will grow curious as she catches up with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). When the topic of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) comes up, Maxie will wonder if Nina’s interested in him.
Nina will stroke her lip and look like she’s indeed interested. She’ll probably tell Maxie about their recent kiss and suggest that she wouldn’t mind seeing where this could lead.
Over with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll think she’s stumbled upon some juicy gossip. Alexis will have a big reaction as she seeks confirmation that Jax slept with Nina. Of course, that hasn’t happened…yet.
Jax may admit he’s interested, but Alexis’ advice will change his perspective. Whenever Jax ultimately meets back up with Nina, he’ll let her know that friendship is for the best right now.
At Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) apartment, Julian Jerome (William deVry) will show up and insist he’s there to help. If there’s anything Brad needs, Julian would be glad to do it. Naturally, Brad will be pretty suspicious over this nice guy act.
Brad will wonder what the catch is, but Julian will insist that there isn’t one. GH spoilers say Julian will want a truce, so we’ll see how long that plan pans out.
Next, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will be part of a meeting at the Quartermaine mansion. The Q family will try to work out a deal with Nelle Benson Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), but Nelle won’t be in the mood to negotiate – not when they have such a paltry amount they have in mind!
Nelle’s holding out for the big bucks, so she’ll rip up the paperwork and snarl that she’s not going anywhere.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will look exasperated at this point, but he should know by now that Nelle doesn’t back down from a fight. He’ll just have to hang in there and find a way to gain the true upper hand.
Next, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will talk to Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) about Peter. She’ll insist that Peter hired the gunman, so she’ll be counting on Spinelli to help her prove it.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will have some huge news for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). He now knows the name of Sonny’s new enemy: Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). After Jason updates Sonny, a little digging will reveal that Cyrus recently transferred to Pentonville.
As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll demand some answers about this GH baddie. Carly will contend that she deserves to know who tried to kill her children and what Sonny intends to do about it.
Jason and Sonny will do everything in their power to keep the Corinthos clan safe, but it’s clear that this is an incredibly dangerous situation. Cyrus could easily strike again, so Sonny will need to get a grip on all this ASAP.
