General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, February 5 Recap – Julian Drugs Brad – Lucas Wakes Up – Sonny Meets Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, February 5, reveal that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was unamused to find Peter August (Wes Ramsey) alone in the living room with Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love).

Later, he grumped to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about it, and Anna was shocked that Finn felt so strongly about Peter. They started arguing, and Finn mentioned that he just had a talk with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), which worried Anna.

Finn confirmed that he said nothing to Sam about Peter, but that he needed more than Peter’s word that he wasn’t connected to the OR gunman, the memory mapping, or Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) disappearance.

Peter then said that he thinks Anna has so much unresolved guilt about giving Peter up that she’ll believe anything. He then quizzed Anna on what Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) thought about the evidence she found,

Anna reluctantly admitted that she was withholding the evince from the police, which really upset Finn. He then questioned whether they’d still be getting married – after all, she did take off for six months. As they argued, Violet came in, and Finn left abruptly to take her to school, leaving Anna upset and in tears.

Meanwhile, Sam met with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) at Kelly’s. Sam wanted to talk about going after Peter, and Spinelli said he was all in and that Peter was unworthy of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) love.

Sam revealed how she and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) needed evidence on Peter for Robert, and Spinelli agreed to make nice with Peter, then hack into his computer.

After Spinelli took off, Finn popped into Kelly’s, bumping into Sam. Sam wondered what was wrong with him, then suspected that he might be more willing to help them go after Peter.

Meanwhile, across town at the Metro Court, Maxie and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) talked about Nina’s kiss with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Maxie felt that Nina should go for it, and Nina seemed excited.

At a nearby table, Jax spoke briefly with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who learned about his kiss with Nina. Alexis warned him to be careful. After Alexis left, Nina approached Jax, and before she could get any words out, Jax apologized for their kiss and said they should remain friends, since he was her boss. They agreed, and Nina seemed disenchanted by this.

Back at Maxie’s table, she was joined by Peter, then shortly by Spinelli who happily sat down to join them and make nice. Meanwhile, over at the Quartermaine mansion, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) bickered with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) until Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) arrived.

Micheal then made Nelle another cash offer to dump her ELQ shares, but Nelle flatly refused, tearing up the offer. Martin then asked for a word with Nelle, and they spoke in the living room, where Martin accused Nelle of still being in love with Michael.

Nelle denied it, claiming that this was all about the money and that she needed a lot of cash because she’d be far too busy to work soon, and that when the offer was high enough then “we” would leave Port Charles together. Martin wondered who “we” was.

Next, at Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) place, Julian Jerome (William deVry) arrived with cappuccinos for the two of them – a peace offering. Julian claimed to be there to help take care of Wiley Cooper-Jones (Theo and Erik Olson), and while Brad was in the the other room, Julian drugged his cappuccino then stuffed a bag of pills in a vase. Brad returned and Julian took Wiley into the kitchen to feed him.

Brad ended up not drinking the cappuccino, much to Julian’s dismay. Julian said that they needed to work together, and Brad agreed that their focus should be on Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes). Julian offered a cappuccino toast to the future, but Brad suddenly got a call, then said, “Oh my God. Lucas is awake.”

At the Corinthos estate, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got updated by Jason about the warehouse gunman’s dying words, but before he could spill who was behind the shootings, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) burst in and said that she deserved to know who was responsible for all of this.

Jason then revealed it was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), whom Sonny described as a drug trafficker and heavy hitter with a ruthless reputation.

They surmised that Cyrus wanted to move into the Port Charles territory, and they learned that he had been in federal prison for ten years, but that he was recently moved to Pentonville in a top-secret transfer.

Sonny ordered Jason to get details about Cyrus’ organization, and they openly wondered why Cyrus was coming after Sonny now. Sonny vowed to strike back hard and find out what’s going on.

After Sonny exited, Carly lamented to Jason about the danger, and whether she should pack up the girls and leave. Jason talked her down and comforted her. Meanwhile, at Pentonville, Sonny arrived and came face-to-face with Cyrus in the visiting booth. Cyrus smiled and said, “Mr. Corinthos, we meet at last” while Sonny glared.
