General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, January 15, teases that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) will have the time of her life at Shiloh Archer’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) memorial service. She just revealed herself as Shiloh’s widow – and she’s loving every second of the shock this brought the crowd.
In Wednesday’s episode, Nelle will assure her guests that she’s indeed Mrs. Archer. She’ll wave her wedding ring around and insist she wanted everyone to come honor her husband.
Of course, the real reason for this memorial service is to make a bold statement. Nelle wants to rub it in that she’s a free woman and intends on going after Shiloh’s shares.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be furious over Nelle’s release. He’ll wonder how Nelle even managed it, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will feel the same way.
Meanwhile, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will think back to those unsettling moments at GH, where Nelle begged to hold “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson).
Since Willow assumes “Wiley” is Shiloh’s son, she may also assume that’s why Nelle’s so obsessed with him. However, the truth is even worse since a baby swap went down. Nelle has every intention of getting Jonah Corinthos back, so we’ll see what moves she makes as part of her plan.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will expect Daddy to bail her out.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will be disappointed in Brook Lynn for landing at the PCPD – and may be tempted to leave her in lockup for the night. Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) certainly thinks it’d be beneficial!
Brook Lynn, on the other hand, will want to get out of there ASAP. She’ll push Ned to throw the Quartermaine name around and make it happen, but Ned may put up a fight. Over with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), they’ll be free and ready to talk.
There’s a lot to go over now that Lulu knows Dustin and Brook Lynn have a connection.
Lulu will want Dustin to tell the story from the beginning without skipping any details. She’ll think she needs the full scoop on “Dusty” and Brook Lynn, who seemingly had a hot romance once upon a time.
Lulu’s sure to battle some jealousy, but Dustin seems committed to their future. He may assure Lulu that whatever he shared with Brook Lynn is all in the past.
Next, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will discuss their deal.
Nik will be ready for Ava to hand over the codicil, but not so fast! Ava will want what’s hers before she gives Nikolas what he wants. She’s insisting on a post-nup and may have a few other tricks up her sleeve soon enough.
Nikolas will imply that Ava’s life is in danger if she pushes him too far. Ava will smile and argue that Nikolas isn’t going to kill her, but he’ll ask how she can be so sure. Perhaps Ava’s made certain provisions in case she meets an untimely demise.
Ava may warn Nikolas that she can make his world blow up dead or alive – and she’s of far more value to him alive at the moment.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will plan a special trip, so this will definitely bring more drama. As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), he’ll have a trip of his own in mind.
That apparently involves taking Mike Corbin (Max Gail) to be part of that magnetic wave study, but Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will try to help Sonny see the light. He’s chasing after miracles that aren’t going to work – at least not long-term.
Sonny will want to help Mike hold on, but Stella won’t get what Mike’s really holding onto at this point. His quality of life has greatly deteriorated, so Stella may argue that the best thing Sonny can do is just enjoy Mike while he can and make him comfortable.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny and Mike may still wind up going on this road trip, but it may become more about letting Sonny say goodbye to his dad.
