General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, March 4 Recap – Valentin Made Forged Passports Vanish – Nelle Goes Free, Sues Michael For Custody

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, March 4, reveal that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) arrived at court and snarked at Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier), who was there with her attorney Zara Amir (Maysoon Zayid). Zara urged Carly to quit antagonizing Nelle, but Carly persisted, saying that Nelle will go back to Pentonville and that someday Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) will know about who Nelle really is.

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) joined Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who relayed that he’s taking a month-long leave of absence to focus on Wiley. They talked a bit about Michael’s desire for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to stay in Wiley’s life, and Michael wondered if he pushed Willow too hard about that.

Next, near the ice-skating rink, Willow helped a little boy who dropped his hot chocolate, then teared up as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) came along. She needed a hug, and he comforted her. She relayed that Michael wants her to find a way to be a part of Wiley’s life, and that the more she thinks about it, the more she wants it. Chase urged her to take a breath before she made that decision.

Over at the Metro Court, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) watched from the bar as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) mulled over the paperwork that Linc Brown (Dan Buran) just gave her. Linc reiterated his offer to let her out of her contract if she signed over her ELQ shares. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) walked up and asked if there was a problem, and Linc promptly walked off.

Olivia then fished for information about why Brook Lynn was meeting with Linc, and Brook Lynn indicated that there was an offer on the table, but she didn’t mention that her ELQ shares were the price. Instead, she said “her dignity” was at stake. Olivia thought that if that was the price, maybe it was worth it, but Brook Lynn said that if she did then her family will never look at her the same way again. Olivia told her that if she can’t live with the consequences, don’t do it.

At Jordan Ashford’s (Briana Nicole Henry) office, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) walked in while Jordan was on the phone getting updates. He brought scotch and two shot glasses with him, and they drank in honor of Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Mac said that he had a lead in the case, but that he wanted to tell her about it before he acted – the lead is Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). He said he’d question Curtis later and just wanted to give them both a heads up.

On the pier, Curtis met with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Sonny told Curtis that they needed to find a solution to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). He and Jason tried to get Curtis to real Cyrus’ beef with Taggert, but Curtis refused talk and promptly left.

Mac then arrived to talk with Sonny and Jason, wondering if Taggert said anything before he passed that could give Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) peace. Jason relayed that Taggert said that Trina was the only thing he cared about. Mac turned to Sonny and said that the city would be coming down hard on his business, starting with a visit from the health department tomorrow.

Back in court, Willow walked in, prompting Nelle to snark at her, then Michael arrived. Nelle asked how Wiley was doing, but Michael refused to speak to her. The judge entered and the hearing began, with Nelle being charged by the DA of assault and possession of forged documents. She pled not guilty, and Zara made a motion to dismiss all charges, while Valentin came in and sat down in the galley.

Zara tried to discredit Willow’s account of Nelle’s actions, while Valentin sat amused. Ultimately, the judge dismissed the assault charge without prejudice, and then Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) stood up and admitted that the PCPD evidence room misplaced the forged travel documents. Valentin smirked at this. The judge granted the motion to dismiss all charges related to the documents.

While Nelle hugged Zara and smiled at Valentin, Carly lashed out at Robert, asking if Nelle would be charged with the baby swap along with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen). Robert lamely said that they were trying to build a case against Nelle on that, but it was tough since Nelle’s story is inconsistent with Brad’s. Later, Nelle got a call from Valentin and thanked him for all his help.

Out in the corridor, Willow was upset that Nelle gets to go free, and Carly said this was far from over, and that it’s Nelle’s word against Brad’s. Nelle then approached and handed Michael an envelope, saying that it is notice of her intent to sue him for full and sole custody of Wiley.

Back at the Q mansion, Sasha was there alone when Chase arrived. He promptly announced that he wanted to talk to Michael because he was messing with Willow’s head and he needs to stop. He explained that Willow was nearly falling apart right now and that she needed some time. Sasha suggested that they keep an open line of communication between them about what Willow and Michael are thinking with respect to Wiley. Chase agreed that for now that was the plan.

Meanwhile, Curtis arrived at Jordan’s office, and she told him that Mac was going to be questioning him about the warehouse incident soon. Curtis said that he’s got a story ready, and Jordan told him to tell the whole truth. She said that she had just written her letter of resignation and a full confession to what she did. Curtis protested, saying that if she did that, Cyrus would walk and that he had an idea.

Later, Curtis and Jordan showed up at Sonny’s office. Curtis said that it was time that they all set aside their differences and take down Cyrus once and for all.
