General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 25, reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) met up at the hospital, with Jason reporting that Julian Jerome (William deVry) was nowhere to be found.
Sonny then talked to Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr), who said that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was going to break the news about Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) to Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Meanwhile, in Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) room, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) comforted Cameron, who was scared about Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) surgery, which was ongoing.
Over in the chapel, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) prayed, hoping that Franco would fight and stay with her and the boys.
Near the ER, Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) carried Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and yelled for help. Portia came rushing over, and Dante told her how Lulu had touched her head and then collapsed. Portia got Lulu on a gurney and rushed her off for a CT scan, noting that one of Lulu’s pupils was blown.
Back in Cameron’s room, Elizabeth arrived to see Laura and Cameron. Cameron asked Elizabeth to check on Dev for him, and Laura took Elizabeth out into the hallway and told her about Dev’s death.
Elizabeth decided to go tell Cameron what happened, and Laura got a text from Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) that looked urgent, so she rushed off.
Elizabeth found Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in the hallway and hugged him, then she went into Cameron’s room and told him about Dev’s death. Cameron broke down, sobbing uncontrollably. Meanwhile, in the chapel, Dante and Sonny spoke briefly, with Dante saying that he never should have left his family.
A few minutes later, Sonny stepped into the hallway for a call from a source, learning that the explosion was caused by a bomb. Sonny was furious.
At Wyndemere, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) hurried Julian into the castle and Julian hid while Ava talked with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Nikolas wanted to know if Ava was able to convince Julian to leave the country, and just then Nikolas got a call from Kevin about Lulu’s collapse. Nikolas rushed off.
Julian came out of hiding, and Ava fumed at her brother for possibly murdering Nikolas’ sister. Soon, there was a knock on the door, and Julian hid again. It turned out to be Jason at the door looking for Julian.
Jason was about to search the place when he got a call from Sonny and learned that the explosion was caused by a bomb.
Sonny asked to talk with Ava about bringing Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) to the Corinthos house. Ava balked, saying that Avery would be safe at Wyndemere. Jason agreed, so Sonny let it go. Jason asked Ava to call him if she heard from Julian, then he took off.
Julian came out of hiding again, and Ava was furious with her brother for setting all this in motion. Julian said that Ava didn’t want him dead, and she agreed, but she was upset that she enabled Julian and that he took a bomb to The Floating Rib.
“At what point does keeping you alive make me an accomplice?” Ava fumed.
Over at Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) place, Sam and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) talked about Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) alcohol problem, and soon there was a knock on the door.
It was one of Sonny’s guys needing to take Sam and Scout Cain (Emma Ramacieri) to the Corinthos house. Sam ultimately agreed.
Over at the Corinthos house, Carly had the horrible task of telling Trina and Josslyn about Dev’s death. Trina and Josslyn were horrified, and they both wanted to see Cameron immediately. Carly said that she’d have someone take them to the hospital.
Later, Carly was alone when Sonny called to update her about Lulu’s collapse and about the explosion being the result of a bomb. Carly wondered if she and the kids needed to go away, but Sonny didn’t think that it was time yet.
Sam arrived with the kids, and soon Jason arrived and reunited with Sam. Carly mentioned the bomb, which was news to Sam.
Carly said that all signs led to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), also noting that a bomb would bring federal attention. “What could possibly be worth taking a risk like that for him?” Carly wondered. “Me,” Jason said, explaining that he thought the bomb was intended to take him out.
Sonny returned, and Sam asked about whether they all needed to leave the country. Carly said they weren’t there yet.
Back at the hospital, Laura met up with Kevin and learned about Lulu losing consciousness. Dante walked up, and so did Portia and Nikolas. Portia said that Lulu suffered from a traumatic brain injury in the explosion, and that now she had cerebral edema.
Kevin didn’t look hopeful when Portia was explaining all of this, and Portia went on to say that Lulu was in surgery to relieve the pressure from her brain. Laura broke down.
In Cameron’s room, Trina and Josslyn arrived and hugged Cameron, while outside the room, Elizabeth mentioned something to Scott about Franco’s brain tumor.
This was the first that Scott was hearing about the tumor, so Elizabeth explained the whole thing to him. Scott was horrified to learn that the tumor was inoperable. Elizabeth said that Franco was scared that he’d wake up a different person.
Back in Cameron’s room, the three teens were in shock, and Cameron felt guilty about leaving Dev to die alone. Josslyn pointed out that Dev had Sonny with him in his final moments.
Cameron described his racing thoughts, saying that he couldn’t figure out why Dev was killed but he survived. Trina said that this was an opportunity for them to not waste what time they had left.
In the chapel, Laura lamented to Kevin about how she thought Lulu was safe, but she wasn’t. Laura was feeling guilty about not knowing that Lulu was in danger, but Kevin said that nobody could have known.
Elsewhere, Lucas Jones (Matt Trudeau) told Elizabeth that Franco’s surgery had gone well, and they were able to remove some of the tumor. Lucas said there were no guarantees about Franco’s condition when he woke up. Elizabeth went in and sat with Franco, holding his hand.
Near the nurses’ station, Portia spoke with Kevin, Laura, Nikolas, and Dante, saying the Lulu was out of surgery and in a coma but that she couldn’t say if Lulu would wake up.
Dante asked Laura if he could go sit with Lulu, and he went in and told an unconscious Lulu that she needed to wake up so they could finish what they started.
Lucas then spoke with Nikolas, Laure, and Kevin about Lulu’s case, saying that no one could have known about her brain injury.
Laura still blamed herself, and Lucas went on, saying that the damage to Lulu’s brain was severe and that it would take a long time for her to recover, if she recovered at all. Laura was beside herself with grief.
Back at Wyndemere, Julian and Ava continued to argue. Julian went on about how he never wanted this to happen, and that he just wanted Lucas to keep the son he loved. Julian then ranted about Sonny, saying that Sonny’s the bad guy in this equation, not him.
Ava got fed up and told Julian that he had two choices – go to Sonny and let him finish this or leave now and don’t look back. “If you stay, you’re on your own,” Ava said.
