General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, October 14, tease that there’ll be more chaos as the Deception pitch meeting continues. GH fans know Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) showed up looking like something the cat dragged in, so the day didn’t get off to a great start.
Despite Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) miraculous makeover, Sasha’s presentation was a mess and nearly cost them the deal.
The good news is Sasha found her groove after Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) pep talk. The bad news is Sasha continues to prove she’s unreliable. Lucy has a business to run and can’t always count on Sasha to pull things off at the last second.
To make matters worse, there’s an issue with the recording of Brook Lynn’s promotional song. Lucy and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) just put Brook Lynn on the spot since they assume she can sing live.
The buyer’s waiting, but Brook Lynn will request a moment to collect herself so she can recruit Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) to be her voice in person.
Multiple disasters are on the horizon since this lip-syncing plan’s obviously not going to work – at least not for long. Amy may deliver an over-the-top performance that Brook Lynn struggles to match.
The jig will be up soon one way or another, so General Hospital spoilers reveal that Deception’s going to look like the laughingstock of the cosmetic industry.
Of course, Lucy won’t forget about how bad Sasha made them look earlier. Although the buyer found a certain charm in the presentation, it was unrehearsed and far from polished.
Lucy may pile most of the blame on Sasha as things go wrong again, even though this BLQ debacle isn’t Sasha’s fault.
There’s no getting around the fact that Sasha’s falling into a pattern of not doing her job correctly – and GH fans know that’s because she’s on drugs.
Lucy may wonder what the heck’s going on with Sasha, but Sasha may put walls up to keep her secret. “Message received!” Sasha shouts before stomping off in Wednesday’s preview video. Sasha might even feel like she needs to quit before Lucy can fire her!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will spread the happy engagement news. Maxie blurted out a proposal, so Peter August (Wes Ramsey) got down on one knee and offered one of his own.
Maxie doesn’t care that it wasn’t a conventional way of getting engaged. She’s on cloud nine right now and will be eager to give Mac Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) updates.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will also be around to hear about Maxie and Peter’s looming nuptials. Mac will pick up on Robert’s uneasiness and wonder about the reason. General Hospital spoilers say Mac will just want to know what Robert’s problem with Peter is, but Robert may hold back here.
As for Peter, he’ll head over to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place and will undoubtedly be bursting with joy. Peter will bring Anna up to speed on the engagement and how great his life is, so that’ll throw off Anna’s plans.
Anna was seemingly all set to come clean about the possibility that Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) could be Peter’s mother, but it looks like she’ll keep her mouth shut.
Peter will remind Anna that she summoned him, but Anna should make up a different excuse and focus on making sure the secret remains a secret.
As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll talk to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and push for peace with their father, Gregory Chase (James Read). Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) warned Chase to stay out of his, but he’s obviously not going to listen.
Finn will suggest Chase shouldn’t worry about it since the wedding may not even happen. That’ll confuse Chase, who’ll ask why. Finn may have concerns about something going wrong or worry that it’s not a good idea due to all the drama that’s going on with Alex.
At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will insist that she’ll never be able to repay Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). There’ll be a tender moment between these exes, which Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) may not appreciate if she witnesses.
However, it may be Jordan’s link to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) that troubles Portia even more.
Cyrus will meet with Jordan to see if she has what he asked for. Jordan may hand over the case file and leave Portia uneasy if she suspects something’s up.
