General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, September 16, tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will seem hesitant to confide in Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow will pick up on Michael’s reluctance, but she’ll make a promise to her husband. According to Willow, nothing Michael tells her would ever make her think less of him.
Michael might make some admission regarding Mike Corbin (Max Gail) that he deems selfish under the circumstances. Then again, this might tie in with missing Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).
Michael could easily bring up Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) facing years without Mike. Maybe Michael will worry about Wiley dealing with abandonment issues and never getting the closure Sonny got.
However, Michael has a good heart – and Nelle is the mother of his child. Willow would surely understand why Michael would have complex feelings on this. In fact, it would only add to the respect Willow has for Michael.
Even if Michael’s confession veers in another direction, the point is Willow will respond with kindness and grow closer to her hubby in the process.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will tell Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) her view on Mike’s current situation. Joss will think Grandpa knows more than they realize, so that’ll be important as Mike’s death draws near.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will show up to pay his respects if that’s OK, so Mike should get another touching goodbye. General Hospital spoilers say Brando will also bond with Joss, which will bring some sweet moments during this somber time.
As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll have some comforting words for Carly. Jason will feel confident that Sonny will do the right thing like he always does. Sonny struggled to let go of Mike early on, but now he’s ready to bid his father farewell. It’s just a matter of figuring out what Mike needs from him.
Sonny feels like Mike’s waiting on something from him – and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will confirm that it’s permission. Sonny might suggest that he already gave Mike that, but that was before they were so close to the end.
Stella may argue that Mike needs Sonny to let him know it’s all right to pass on. It’ll be the final nudge Mike needs to die in peace.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will continue the Mike fantasy theme on Wednesday’s GH episode. There’ll be some special scenes where Sonny considers what might’ve been if Mike hadn’t faced an Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Once those scenes conclude and Sonny gives Mike the green light to go, Mike will indeed pass away.
