General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, September 2, tease that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has two choices. Anna can keep avoiding the truth or she can step up and face it. Of course, the truth Robert’s talking about undoubtedly involves Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Robert still doesn’t trust Peter, so he’ll advise Anna to open her eyes and see Peter for who he really is. Although Anna will be rattled by Robert’s guidance, she’ll surely stand by Peter as usual. As Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has pointed out before, you can’t make someone see the truth when he or she doesn’t want to see it.
It should take a lot more than a warning from Robert for Anna to view Peter in a different light. While we wait on Anna to shift her way of thinking, let’s talk about Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan).
Maxie will discuss something “horrible” with Lulu – and finding bloody Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) would certainly qualify.
Lulu might reflect on when Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) attacked her and how traumatic that was. Perhaps Maxie will nudge Lulu to visit Brook Lynn and have a conversation about their similar trauma. GH fans can expect Lulu to help a friend in need through her own experiences in Wednesday’s episode.
Brook Lynn isn’t really a friend to Lulu, but she could be in this instance. It’s common for soap enemies to put their conflict aside and call a truce in times of crisis. Then again, maybe Maxie will be the friend Lulu helps somehow. The point is Lulu will do her best to make herself useful on Wednesday!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will remain against Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) plan to visit Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Ned will suggest that maybe Olivia should honor Dante’s wishes by leaving him alone. Of course, Olivia will probably be appalled that Ned would even suggest that. There’s no way Olivia will ever give up on her son!
Across town, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will meet up with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). When Chase admits he wants to come clean about their fake cheating plot, Sasha will ask if he’s out of his mind. Clearly, Sasha won’t agree that’s the right move at all.
Chase will probably insist Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) deserve the truth now that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) has vanished. Chase may feel like he could get back together with Willow – and Sasha could reunite with Michael.
However, Sasha may suggest that Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) still needs a stable home with two parents who love him. Sasha might argue that Michael and Willow won’t bail on this marriage anyway, so they might as well keep their mouths shut and spare “Millow” the pain.
Over with Michael, he’ll make a suggestion that shocks Willow. Michael will confess that he wants Willow to adopt Wiley, so this could also lead to a discussion about Michael’s feelings for Willow.
Since Michael overheard Willow on the baby monitor, he knows where she stands and sees the potential for them to have a real future together.
Regardless, Willow adores Wiley and will likely get on board with this adoption. It’s a big step, but it seems like one Willow would want to take.
As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll admit she has something to tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). It looks like Carly will be near the stables at the track, where Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) having a special day with his loved ones.
Carly hates to ruin Sonny’s final days with his father, but she also knows it’s a bad idea to keep secrets from Sonny. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will plan to spill what really happened to Nelle, but she may be interrupted.
Whatever the case, Carly will change her mind and stay tight-lipped about Nelle’s horrifying cliff fall.
As for Mike, there’ll be a touching moment where he offers gratitude to Sonny. “Thank you, son,” Mike says in Wednesday’s GH preview video. Sonny should appreciate seeing Mike lucid – even if it’s just for a second. It’ll really make this track outing worthwhile.
