General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview teases that the action will be heating up during the week of April 6th. But before we get to that, we should note that ABC’s current plan is to air a special encore episode on Friday, April 10th, so it will be an abbreviated week, with all-new episodes airing from Monday – Thursday. And according to the new GH promo, it should be an exciting four days!
First off, the promo addresses the ongoing mystery surrounding Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and that half-heart necklace that she’s taken a renewed interest in recently. As GH viewers know, Nina believes that she’s got a daughter out there somewhere, but it seems that all leads to finding this daughter were exhausted by Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) some time ago.
Valentin was unable to locate Nina’s real daughter, so he conjured up a fake one in Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). But now that some time has gone by since Nina found out that Sasha was a phony, it seems that Nina will want to renew her search.
Nina’s shown in the GH preview promo telling Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that she still has the feeling that she has a daughter out there.
And then, something big happens. The promo shows Nina fiddling with the necklace, and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) walking in and seeing her. “Oh,” Willow says, “I was just noticing the necklace you’re holding.” Of course, this is significant, since the show has long hinted that Willow could be Nina’s long-lost daughter.
As GH viewers know, Nina has had a contentious relationship with Willow from the get-go, and that has led to a lot of speculation over time that Willow could be Nina’s daughter. But now recently, GH buzz is that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) could be the daughter that Nina had all those years ago. The GH promo promises that the mystery will deepen this week, so we should get some sizzling details.
We should also note that this Wednesday, April 8th will be a special “Carly-centric” episode of the show, which will highlight Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) past and offer some “historical surprises.” This episode will feature young versions of both Carly and Nelle, so you never know what viewers could find out about that necklace, and the relationship that Nelle could have to Nina!
Next, the promo shifts to some drama with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), as she’s shown on a split-screen alongside Nelle and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). It looks like Josslyn may have some ideas to get Nelle out of the picture, and she’ll want Jason’s help.
As GH viewers know, Josslyn is very close to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and she wants Nelle as far away from Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Eric and Theo Olson) as possible. But Nelle is right there, causing all sorts of trouble and leveling a custody case against Michael. It’s all too much.
So, Josslyn will approach Jason with a big request. Josslyn’s shown in the promo saying, “Nelle is evil. Promise me you’ll stop her.” And a stoic Jason responds, “What is it you want me to do?”
We’ll see what Josslyn’s big idea is, but she might have a “permanent” solution in mind, and if so, then Jason will probably quickly talk her out of that!
