General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 3-7 tease that the ABC soap will finally be able to ditch the repeats and get back to airing new episodes. GH viewers are eager to see what’s next in Port Charles, so we’ve got the scoop. There’ll be plenty of shockers and shakeups going on during the show’s first week back!
For starters, let’s talk about all the drama in the courtroom. Something will shake Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) up – and we’re betting it’s Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) to turn on her! Nelle’s expecting a glowing recommendation from her current employer, but Nina swore to tell the truth.
The truth is that Nina doesn’t trust Nelle and isn’t sure she can change for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), so that may be exactly what Nina tells the judge.
Jasper “Jax” Jasper (Ingo Rademacher) has been pushing Nina to consider what’s best for Wiley. Once Nina’s done testifying, Jax will let her know he admires her for being strong and brave.
As for Nelle, she’ll be ready for a fierce confrontation! Nelle was counting on Nina, so she’ll feel like she got stabbed in the back. Nelle will definitely want to corner Nina and demand some answers about this betrayal.
Later, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will find himself inching closer to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), but any peace they find won’t last thanks to Nelle.
General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will fly into a rage and demand to see her son, so that suggests joint custody as a real possibility here. On the other hand, we wouldn’t put it past Nelle to disregard the judge’s orders and cause a scene.
Nelle might have a hard time accepting a full custody outcome that rules in Michael’s favor, so she could still demand to see Wiley in that case.
However, the most likely option seems to be Nelle getting joint custody despite Nina’s negative comments – leaving Nelle livid with Nina while still having some control over Wiley.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Read), he’ll be a busy man! After sparring with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), he’ll be time for an emergency strategy session with Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight).
Valentin will want to move fast and try to seal the deal on this ELQ takeover before Brook Lynn has the chance to stop him. Brook Lynn will interrupt Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) following a shouting match with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), but Valentin will be hard at work.
He’ll visit Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and inform her he has a proposition that she’ll be very interested in.
Valentin will likely have his eye on Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) and Danny Morgan’s (Porter Fasullo) ELQ shares. If Sam can help Valentin secure them, could he pull some strings and make her parole issues disappear?
General Hospital spoilers point to Sam being presented with an opportunity that could solve both her problems, so Valentin might offer to take Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) out of the picture, too!
Regardless, no one should underestimate Valentin and his desire for power. Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will find Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a moment of distress.
It sounds like Sonny will be in tears after leaving Mike Corbin (Max Gail) at Turning Woods). Sonny may make some tough choices when it comes to Mike’s final wishes, but he’ll battle his conscience later.
Carly will console Sonny before meeting up with Sam for a chat. They’ll have something in common – a struggle that they both understand all too well. This might involve the dangerous world Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) live in since they’re still preparing to take Cyrus down.
Then again, Carly may get updates on Valentin’s proposal and understand Sam’s tight spot. Sam will have to weight her options carefully, so Carly may get that sometimes there are no good ones.
Elsewhere, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will run into someone and get awfully rattled. Cyrus may decide to play some mind games and fill Portia with fear.
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will definitely find herself enduring another round of Cyrus’ manipulation, so she won’t appreciate that one bit! Cyrus will also have a meeting with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), so what’s that about?
Is Brando linked to Cyrus and monitoring Sonny’s activities for him? If Brando’s secretly spying and helping the enemy, Sonny may have to fight back.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will have his own meeting with Brando later, so we’ll see if Sonny senses trouble. In the meantime, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will make a huge decision – one that affects Deception’s future and most likely Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson), too.
Will Sasha get fired? Could Sasha be asked to take on more work instead? No matter what Lucy and Maxie decide, it’ll probably play a role in Sasha’s drug battle. Later, second thoughts will creep in for Maxie.
Those could be related to Maxie and Lucy’s Deception choice, but we can’t forget that Maxie’s pregnant. Maxie might deal with doubts about spilling the baby news to Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will refuse to let someone smear Peter’s name in the week ahead. In Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) quest to find out what really happened to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), his research may lead him to Peter.
Although Peter didn’t have anything to do with Holly’s death – or faked death as the info now indicates – he could still be linked to this whole situation.
Peter will have Anna to defend him while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets a visit from a pal she hasn’t seen in quite some time. Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll bump into Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and take the opportunity to catch up.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), he’ll establish a nice connection with Portia as they discuss their daughters.
GH fans won’t want to miss this exciting week of new episodes, so stay tuned! CDL’s the place to be for sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts, so be sure to drop by regularly and read up on the latest info.
