General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 28-January 1 tease that suspicions will be on the rise in Port Charles. For starters, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) won’t understand why everything seems so shady with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).
It’ll be weird since Liesl will want to keep everything on the downlow, so Franco will question why they can’t go through the official channels.
Scott Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has become a reluctant partner in crime, so he’ll have to go along with whatever story Liesl offers. General Hospital spoilers say Obrecht’s hatred for Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will grow even stronger once she’s back in Port Charles.
It sounds like Liesl will have a hard time keeping her rage under control!
Meanwhile, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) on her mind and in her heart. It’ll be sad knowing Lulu’s still in a coma and will miss Christmas this year.
Maxie and Peter will reflect on Lulu’s situation before Peter inadvertently offers a bright idea. Maxie will come up with a way to keep Lulu’s presence in their lives – and it could tie in with Peter and Maxie’s chosen baby name.
As for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), he just won’t be sure he can be in a relationship with a woman he doesn’t trust and who doesn’t trust him back.
Curtis will hear Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) out, but the love he has for her may not be strong enough to overcome her Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) secret.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will dodge the questions she can and flat-out lie on the ones she can’t.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will grill Carly about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his involvement in Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) death, so Carly will cover for her husband and hope he somehow survived that bridge fall.
Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will also make a choice in hopes of avoiding any more pain. That could mean settling on something more definitive when it comes to giving their former flames another shot.
It’s one thing to say you’re going to explore things with your exes, but they can’t hold back and really do that.
While Michael and Willow try to make sense of things, Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will make a major confession. It looks like Molly will go through with admitting the truth about sleeping with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) – and that means her relationship with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will be in jeopardy.
Other GH spoilers say Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will want Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to be straight with her. Britt will worry that she set in motion a chain reaction that caused Julian’s death, but Jason will offer reassurance on that. Julian only has himself to blame for his fate.
When it comes to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Britt will hope to find out if going against him is the right call. Will that mean Britt’s fighting on the right side of this battle?
Jason will think Britt has to make that decision on her own, but he’ll probably think she already knows the answer. In the end, Britt will go all in on helping Jason – and that could be putting herself in grave danger.
Over with Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll have a heartfelt conversation with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). They may talk about Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) and how he couldn’t be saved.
Terry may acknowledge that Cam’s worried about Franco facing a similar fate, but you can bet Dr. Randolph will do everything she can to help Franco survive – even when things look bleak.
Back with Carly, she’ll get an unexpected visitor that could mean more lies to cover up this whole Sonny situation. Later, Carly will move forward with a risky plan and perhaps hope it leads to Sonny’s discovery.
As for Brando, his loyalty will be put to the test. If Cyrus wants Brando to something drastic like eliminate Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), that could put Brando in a real bind.
General Hospital spoilers say Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will continue to battle guilt over sleeping with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before her wedding – and then letting Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) think he was to blame for the tension between them.
Jackie will console a friend in need, so that might be Finn since they’ve been keeping this secret under wraps.
Of course, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is now in the loop, so that’ll lead to a deep discussion with Jackie soon enough. Look for Jackie to bond with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), too.
It’ll be interesting to see if sparks fly between Robert and Jackie down the road. As for Willow and Chase, there could certainly be a spark or two reignited when they bump into each other at a charity event.
In the meantime, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will establish more of a connection. Too bad Olivia won’t know that a) Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) cheated on her and b) Tracy staged Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) drunk-driving accident.
Speaking of that drunk-driving accident, Finn will get updates and grow concerned. Alexis will maintain that she’s innocent, but there’s no denying that she has a serious drinking problem.
Finn will voice his fears and do his best to help. Ned will also help a friend in need, so we’ll see if that’s Alexis or someone else he has to rescue.
General Hospital spoilers say an encore episode will air on Thursday, December 31. That’ll be followed by a preemption on Friday, January 1, but the show will return with new episodes the following week. We’ll pass along more news as it comes in.
