General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of June 1-5 tease that viewers will see another batch of Nurses Ball classics. If you’re wondering which years will be revisited, we’ve got the scoop for you. General Hospital spoilers say some great encores are ahead, so here’s what you can expect.
On Monday, GH plans to re-air an episode that was originally shown on May 25, 2016. In this classic, Jake Webber (Hudson West) battles some nerves as he prepares for his Nurses Ball performance. Jake nearly chokes under the pressure, but Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) swoops in to save the day.
Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) plays dirty to make sure Ava Jerome (Maura West) loses custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Ava’s furious over Carly’s blackmail plot, but Carly’s definitely pleased with herself! There’s also a Magic Milo and the Magic Wands performance in this episode, which is always a crowd pleaser.
Tuesday brings a General Hospital classic from May 23, 2017. Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) are given a look at Jake’s Chimera canister while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) spots a Chimera necklace on the floor.
Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he brings Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a journal that belonged to Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Sonny’s hoping Morgan’s journal contains clues about how things went so wrong for his son.
That leads to Sonny discovering a discrepancy in Morgan’s medication dosage. After talking to Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery), Sonny notices a powdery substance in Morgan’s bottle – something other than lithium. Andre agrees to have it tested to follow up on Sonny’s suspicions.
Wednesday’s episode first aired on May 24, 2017, so the same Nurses Ball will continue. Jake’s fearful when he notices the Chimera symbol on Anna’s necklace. As for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he makes a major confession to Anna. Valentin reveals that he sold the Chimera project to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), so Anna listens intently to his story.
Over with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), she’s stuck in a hospital bed at GH. Nelle’s longing for a visit from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), who eventually shows up to sit by her bedside. Some special performances are featured, including a memorable one by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
On Thursday, we’ll see the episode from May 25, 2017. Anna mentions the Chimera biotoxin to Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) while Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) decides to reunite with Valentin. Sonny and Carly also get confirmation on Ava switching Morgan’s pills. Later, Jake has a creepy vision of Helena, who wants him to do one last deadly Chimera trick during his magic act.
Friday will cap things off a classic from May 17, 2018. Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) is blown away by Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) romantic marriage proposal. Next, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) eavesdrops on Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), who assures Anna he hasn’t stopped caring about her.
Finally, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) finds something significant in Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) office. Peter has Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) lighter, so Sam makes the discovery and realizes it belongs to Faison.
