General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of June 15-19 tease that a brand-new theme will be featured. All the Nurses Ball classics have been fun, but plenty of fans have had their fill of the big event. It’s time to get back to some love in the afternoon, so get ready for a week devoted to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) romance.
On Monday, General Hospital spoilers say the show will throw it back to the 2007 Metro Court hostage crisis. Many GH viewers have been requesting this exciting encore. Carly and Sonny recommit to each other in the midst of all the danger, so this will be an episode worth rewatching.
Tuesday’s classic will involve Sonny’s downward spiral in 2013. After going off his meds, Sonny’s out of control and in desperate need of help. Carly steps up to make sure Sonny gets that assistance. She fights to get Sonny back on lithium and proves she’s someone Sonny can always count on.
On Wednesday’s 2015 throwback, Carly takes a walk down memory lane while Sonny tries to recover from a gunshot wound. Sonny’s in critical condition, so all Carly can do is wait and hold out hope in the GH chapel. Carly reflects on the vows Sonny wrote for her as she recalls some of the highs and lows for “CarSon.”
Thursday’s episode is another encore from 2015 – and it once again features the GH chapel. That’s where Sonny and Carly enjoy their heartfelt nuptials as their nearest and dearest gather around them. Who doesn’t love a good soap wedding, right?
Friday will wrap up “CarSon” week with some explosive drama following a tragedy. In this 2016 classic, Carly’s in deep despair as she mourns for Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). This mom’s profound grief drives her to hold Sonny responsible for their son’s death and delivers some powerful scenes.
