General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of June 22-26 tease that some fantastic “JaSam” drama’s coming up. GH is celebrating Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) love story with a fun throwback theme. The ABC soap will deliver five episodes that feature some of Sam and Jason’s best moments, so here’s a preview of these great encores.
There’s no better way to start off “JaSam” week than by showing their very first meeting. That’s exactly what General Hospital intends to do, so look out for that in Monday’s 2003 classic.
GH fans can relive the magic as Jason and Sam both find themselves arrested. Their police station encounter brings some intriguing scenes and that strong “JaSam” chemistry’s there right off the bat!
On Tuesday, Jason faces the daunting task of telling Sam her baby’s dead in 2004. In this gripping General Hospital episode, Jason’s also in mourning as he breaks the news to a crushed Sam.
Although this may be a painful encore, the week ahead is about highlighting the lows as well as the highs. Jason and Sam have been through a lot together, so GH has to give fans a taste of everything.
Wednesday’s episode will take us to a happier time – 2005 to be exact. Sam and Jason are in Hawaii, where they have a blast squirting each other with water guns. This classic is the perfect follow-up to the heavy baby death drama that comes before it. Who doesn’t love a good water gun fight?
Next, Thursday will deliver an episode from back in 2011. Jason doesn’t have a proper engagement ring in this classic, so he proposes to Sam with a chrome nut. There’s some lovely rooftop romance as Jason asks the woman of his dreams to marry him. This is yet another terrific “JaSam” throwback that can’t be missed!
Finally, you can’t wrap up Jason and Sam week without a wedding. Many “JaSam” fans are rooting for Sam and Jason to tie the knot again down the road, but rewatching their 2011 nuptials on Friday will have to do for now. At the Noodle Buddha Chinese restaurant, Jason marries Sam in a sweet, memorable ceremony.
