General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview tease that the action will be heating up this week on the ABC soap. The new GH promo preview for the week of March 16th promises all sorts of drama, including a quest for revenge, cut-throat survival, and more, so let’s get right into it! First off, the promo strongly suggests that Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) investigation into Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will ramp up. As GH viewers know, he’s certain that Peter is not the Mr. Nice Guy who he pretends to be.
Spinelli is shown looking askew during the “revenge” part of the promo, but Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is also shown saying, “I’m going to get even.” Now, she could be talking about all the people who have been gunning for Peter here, which would make sense. But she could also be talking about something a bit more mundane, like her work situation.
As GH viewers know, Maxie has been discontent in her job at Crimson for a while now. It seems like she does most of the heavy lifting while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) jet-sets to exotic locales, canoodles with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), and takes all the credit for Maxie’s work. Maxie could very well be talking about leaving Crimson for Deception, or even about branching out on her own.
Next, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) is shown at the gym, taking out his frustrations on a punching bag. Brando has recently decided to stay in Port Charles rather than going back home to Chicago. This came after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) basically strong-armed him into staying in Port Charles.
Over at the Metro Court, some high drama will pick back up between Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). These two always have tension between them, but it seemed to have died down a bit in recent weeks.
Who knows, perhaps Brook Lynn will spout off something about Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), because the GH promo shows Lulu shaking up a bottle of champagne and dousing Brook Lynn with it!
Something’s clearly going on between the ladies, while across town, Carly will approach Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) with an idea. Of course, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) is on everyone’s minds these days, given that she’s suing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) for sole custody of Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). It looks like Carly might have an idea on that front.
Carly is shown in the promo telling Sasha that she’s a good person who knows how to do “bad.” That sounds like the two might cook up a plot to thwart Nelle. Marriage for Michael and Sasha seems out of the question, given Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) mandate that Sasha’s history would come back to bite, so there must be something else that Carly has in mind here.
Back at the gym, Jason is shown lashing out – Stone Cold slams down a boxing glove onto the boxing mat in frustration. He’s dealing with a lot right now, given that he’s apart from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and the kids.
Plus, he knows that the way to resolve that situation is to get the goods on Peter, which is a slow-go right now, since Peter’s got all his bases covered. Something’s got to give here.
Finally, the new GH preview shows another bitter interaction between Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). They’re shown at the Metro Court having drinks together and clearly the conversation isn’t going that well, given that Ava says, “You detest me,” to which Nikolas replies, “What was your first clue?”
We’ll see what unfolds between these two during the week of March 16th. They’re each scheming to get the other to cheat on the marriage, which will trigger the post-nuptial agreement. So far, neither of them has had luck with that, but that won’t stop them from continuing with the quest, as they continue to wallow in their unhappy union.
