A new General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview teases that viewers are in for a big week, October 12-16, on the ABC soap. The new GH promo for the week of October 12 is out, and it includes a risky arrangement, a likely marriage proposal, and a dire warning from mother to son. There’s a lot going on in this promo, so let’s get right into it!
First off, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is shown back at Pentonville talking with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). As GH viewers know, Ava recently got an ultimatum from Ryan demanding that she divorce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Well, it looks like Ava will have a counteroffer for Ryan. Ava is shown telling Ryan, “I’m sure you’ll appreciate my desire for revenge.”
So, will Ava tell Ryan all about her sham marriage to Nikolas and the terms of the post-nuptial agreement? It certainly sounds like she might, in order to get Ryan to back off of his demand for her to divorce Nikolas.
Perhaps Ava will offer Ryan those weekly visits that he wants, and he’ll accept that in order not to give up Julian Jerome (William deVry) for his crimes.
Next, the promo shows a quick scene that viewers saw at the end of last week on the show, and that’s the return of Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) to Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) condo.
Dante says, “I’m back” to a startled Lulu. GH spoilers say that this won’t end well for Dante, as Lulu will tell him that she’s moved on with her life and that she no longer wants him.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is also shown in the promo getting grilled by his brother Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Mac demands to know what Robert’s problem with Peter is, which is a little puzzling, since Robert seems to voluntarily run his mouth about Peter to anyone who will listen. We’ll see what Robert tells Mac.
There’s also a quick scene in the promo involving Peter that is already raising eyebrows, and that’s a scene of Peter getting down on one knee before Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Could Peter be proposing to Maxie? The timing would make sense, since Maxie is expecting Peter’s baby. Peter may want to make things legit and make Maxie his wife! But what will Maxie say?
Finally, the new GH promo shows Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) having a serious conversation at the Floating Rib with her son Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
As GH viewers know, Jackie is in town after being asked by Lulu to help investigate Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). So far, Chase has managed to avoid all the Cyrus drama, despite being a detective on the PCPD.
Well, Jackie tells Chase that he can’t get involved in this war, as he’s likely to take friendly fire. Of course, we all know that Chase probably won’t just look the other way while his mom is doing battle against the likes of Cyrus.
It will probably only be a matter of time before Chase is smack dab in the middle of the action!
