General Hospital Spoilers: Wiley Joint Custody Ruling Rocks Michael & Nelle - Judge Forces Bitter Rivals To Coparent Son?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the big custody battle over Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) is about to kick off with some big drama ahead. As GH viewers know, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had previously told Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that he had just slightly more than a 50% chance of winning the case unless got married to someone who would help him provide a stable, loving home for Wiley.

Well, Michael did just that by marrying Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), and he and everyone else in his family assumed that this would give him a serious edge in winning sole custody of Wiley.

Nobody was expecting that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) would also turn around and get married herself, in a move designed to show that SHE has stability and someone to help her raise Wiley in a loving home.

Of course, now that Nelle is married to Julian Jerome (William deVry) – Diane will no doubt be on the attack, pointing out all of Julian’s misdeeds in the past and painting him as a terrible parental figure.

But Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) will also do his best to point out all of the problems with the Corinthos and Quartermaine families as well, so chances are, things will look pretty “even” to the judge as the lawyers argue their cases.

And if that’s the case, then probably the most likely outcome of the case will be for the judge to give both Nelle and Michael joint custody of Wiley. After all, if the marriages basically cancel each other out, and each side attacks the other on their serious family weaknesses, then it might all be a wash in the end, and that will probably lead to a joint custody arrangement.

Of course, joint custody of Wiley would mean that Michael, Nelle, and their respective spouses will have to work together to raise Wiley and coordinate on his care. And that’s going to be be an interesting situation, with Michael, Willow, Nelle, and Julian all putting in effort to raise the little boy…and trying to work together without killing each other.

Animosity should be high, since Michael is going to hate the fact that Wiley will be spending half his time with the likes of Nelle and Julian.

GH viewers should see a real struggle and probably a lot of differences of opinion over Wiley and his care – from how he’s cared for while his four caregivers are working to more major things, like the heart surgery that Wiley will needing in the upcoming months.

Of course, the one good thing here for Michael is that at least he knows that Julian really cares about Wiley and will treat him well.

We’ll see what happens here, but it seems like a joint custody situation is probably the most likely outcome at this point. Do you think that the judge will split the difference and give Michael and Nelle joint custody of Wiley?
