General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Maxie Jones’ (Kristen Storms) last baby had a rocky start coming into the world. GH viewers will recall how Maxie went into labor and couldn’t make it to the hospital in time, so Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had to help Maxie improvise. Maxie ultimately gave birth on blankets by the side of the road.
Of course, it’s incredibly common for soap moms to have wild births in unconventional places. Hospital births certainly happen sometimes, but it seems like we see situations like when Maxie gave birth to James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) far more often.
With that in mind, we should go ahead and start thinking about what tight spot Maxie will be in – and who might have to deliver her bundle of joy.
Peter’s downfall is imminent, so there’s a question of whether this baby will even survive. You can bet major stress and trauma are headed Maxie’s way. There’s always the possibility of a miscarriage, but let’s hold out hope that this kid will survive!
Maxie’s already endured enough loss – and it’s not the baby’s fault that he’s the spawn of sinister Peter August aka Henrik Faison.
If Maxie does carry this baby to term, there’s a good chance her next delivery will be just as unconventional as James’ was. General Hospital may have already offered up some hints about the eventual birth.
GH fans couldn’t help but notice how Maxie was suddenly placed in Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) orbit. It feels like there’s a point to that, so maybe a romance is brewing.
Maxie’s going to need a new love interest after her relationship with Peter falls apart. Brando seems like a great one – and the show could be setting him up to follow Peter’s lead when it comes to Maxie’s special delivery.
Could Brando be the one who delivers Maxie’s baby? It’s easy to imagine a scenario where Maxie has car trouble and calls Brando. Perhaps Brando could offer to come help Maxie if the wait for a tow truck’s too long.
It’d be simple to get Maxie and Brando stranded together – at least in the sense of there’s no way they could possibly get to a hospital in time.
Maxie might have to give birth in the middle of nowhere, but that’d be an excellent way to pull Brando closer and even have him bond with the baby.
Since Brando talked to Maxie about kids recently and we know Peter’s ruin is ahead, Brando could slide right in as a father figure. Delivering Maxie’s baby could be the catalyst for the “Braxie” family.
