General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that some huge Nurses Ball surprises are coming up on the ABC soap. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been trying to recover at a WSB facility in Switzerland, but he’ll head back to Port Charles at some point. Could Dante appear at the Nurses Ball? Will Dante’s return serve as a bombshell for all his loved ones?
There’s no word on exactly when Dante will resurface in PC, but it seems like Dante may have a bit more recovering to do first. Dante’s still dealing with some nightmares and is just now on the verge of tearing down his own walls.
GH fans know Dante’s been writing letters to the people he cares about, but he’s not sending them. Dante still feels like his family and friends would be better off without him.
As a result, Dante should continue to work on himself and make a PC comeback when he’s truly ready. During the week of August 24-28, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will receive updates on Mike Corbin (Max Gail) – and they’ll most likely be some somber ones.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will get confirmation on something, so that could be Mike’s death.
Since Sonny will struggle following Mike’s demise, it makes sense to hold off on Dante’s return home for a while. That way Sonny can ultimately find some joy in the darkness – a way to fill the huge void in his heart.
Sonny may be losing his dad, but he’ll get his son back down the road. A reunion with Dante will give Sonny some hope and help to ease his pain.
Of course, a Dante Nurses Ball surprise can’t be ruled out entirely. It’s even possible viewers will see Dante lurking around town before he reveals himself. In that case, Dante might reappear in Port Charles without anyone knowing just yet. However, it seems like Dante’s got a little longer to go in his recovery before that happens.
The good news is Dante will indeed come home sooner or later. The bad news is Dante may have a hard time getting his life back on track. Between Dante’s doubts about himself and the fact that Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) moved on with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), Dante can’t just pick up where he left off!
