General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have finally set a wedding date. They’ve been talking about this wedding for quite some time, but they’ve never really nailed down any details until now. Anna and Finn settled on August as their month of marriage, but that’s obviously going to change duo to the COVID-19 aka coronavirus situation.
GH was forced to suspend production, so it’s going to be a while before the cast and crew can get back in the studio to make more episodes. Once they do return to set, there may still be some restrictions on things like kissing and large group scenes. It may not be the ideal time for another wedding in Port Charles anytime soon.
However, this could be a good opportunity for some story and couple shakeups. General Hospital writers are clearly building toward Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) exposure, which may have been set to play out at this wedding. Due to all the delays and storyline adjustments, maybe GH will have to let the truth come out in another setting.
It makes sense to focus on all the non-romantic Peter stuff first. General Hospital can save the wedding for when any lingering COVID-19 precautions are lifted. It could be Finn and Anna’s chance to come together for some happiness after all the Peter sorrow.
Naturally, that’d also bring the chance to blow this wedding sky high in a completely different way. If Anna and Finn actually make it to the altar, there’s a good chance some shocker will hit.
Finn and Anna have been dragging their feet on this marriage, so we have to wonder why. Is it because Anna and Finn know it’s not right deep down? Are GH writers against a lasting “Fanna” romance?
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers hint that the future may not be bright for Finn and Anna. They could be poised for a split, especially if a wedding bombshell drives them apart. We can certainly think of one possible wedding bomb – and it’s one that would delight Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
Will Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) return just in time to stop Finn from marrying Anna? Will Hayden crash the wedding and derail this happily ever after? If Hayden’s been held hostage somewhere, she’s had a lot of time to think about what she really wants – and that’s surely a united family with Finn and Violet.
It’s easy to imagine Hayden ultimately scoring her freedom and making a comeback right before Finn says “I do.” The relief of knowing Hayden’s alive and well could definitely stir up old feelings. A conflicted Finn might reevaluate what his future’s going to look like.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers point to “Fanna” wedding drama sooner or later. It’d be interesting if Hayden’s return caused it!
