General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will find himself feeling increasingly protective of Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). It’s clear that Curtis is eager to rid Port Charles of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). That’s why Curtis wondered what was taking so long during a secret meeting with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Curtis held his own against Cyrus during a recent encounter at GH. Cyrus didn’t seem intimidated at all, but that didn’t stop Curtis from offering a stern warning. He insisted Cyrus needed to stay away from Trina and Portia. Curtis is really stepping up for these two – and there are undoubtedly some good reasons why.
For starters, Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) pushed Curtis to look out for Trina before his death. Curtis also cares about Portia as his former flame, so there’s some history to work with. Of course, there’s a good chance Portia’s lying about Trina being Taggert’s biological daughter. The story seems set up for Trina to be Curtis’ bio daughter instead.
Those are all excellent reasons for Curtis to stand up to Cyrus and protect the Robinson women. GH seems to be building a family, but where does that leave Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry)? It may be significant that General Hospital spoilers focus on Curtis protecting Portia and Trina in the coming episodes.
That could divide Curtis’ attention and leave him less concerned about Jordan, who he probably thinks can take care of herself more so than Trina and Portia. Jordan’s always had a dangerous job, but Portia’s a doctor and Trina’s just a teenager.
Trina and Portia can’t handle Cyrus like Jordan can, so Curtis may slip a bit when it comes to watching out for his wife. That could certainly lead to tremendous guilt if Cyrus hits Curtis where it truly hurts. Could Jordan die as a result of this Cyrus war? It seems like this storyline would be a letdown without a casualty or two.
Cyrus is almost a fun guy! He babbles on about pastrami and meanders around town stirring up trouble. If GH wants us to believe this guy’s a serious villain who’s capable of anything, they really need to kill off a major character.
Cyrus orchestrated the shootouts, but that didn’t result in any shocking deaths. Perhaps there’ll be at least one unlucky PC resident the next time around. Since Cyrus was been targeting Jordan from day one, she could easily become a fatality in this story. That’d push Curtis in the direction of his new family with Portia and Trina.
A recent Soap Opera Digest blind item revealed that one soap was planning a deadly sendoff for one of its players. Days of Our Lives insiders suggest there’s nothing like that in the works over there. The Young and the Restless doesn’t seem to have any stories that would lead to a deadly exit either.
The Bold and the Beautiful may be an option, but it’s General Hospital that has a deadly mob war going on. You do the math! It may all add up to someone’s death – and Jordan might fit under the circumstances. We’ll give you updates as other GH news rolls in.
