General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some “JaSam” fans are feeling a bit nervous after Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) latest interaction with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). GH viewers watched as Sam faced off with Brando, who got quite fed up at the auto garage. To be fair, Sam was pretty over the top in her efforts to protect Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is normally the one butting in on business that isn’t her own. It was Sam’s turn on April 29 when she intervened on adult Molly’s behalf. Of course, Sam deserves praise for protecting her little sister. We certainly don’t blame Sam for that!
At the same time, Sam came barging in there and was awfully rude to Brando. There was no need to get so irate. Brando gave as good as he got though – and that’s where the “JaSam” concerns come in.
Sam and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) seem solid, and they’re most definitely in love. However, that doesn’t mean betrayals are off limits. They never are on a soap!
Sam and Jason are being forced to keep their distance from each other, which is clearly taking a toll on Sam. Brando thought Sam’s reaction was more about “JaSam” than Molly.
They sparred about their prison stints as Brando noted that at least he was truly free in the legal sense. Sam’s the one who’s still on parole, so it’s more important for her to stay in line.
Brando felt like they should both just mind their own business and never interact again, but we all know this won’t be the end of it. At one point, Brando randomly took his shirt off as he prepared to do some repairs at the shop.
Sam made a smart remark about the work to be done, and her knowledge seemed to surprise Brando.
Any soap fan will tell you this has hot hookup written all over it. Brando proved he’s fond of those when he hopped in bed with Molly right away. It’d be pretty soapy for Brando to fall in bed with Molly’s sister next.
Naturally, it’d also be a real bummer for loyal Sam and Jason fans. They just want their couple to be happy for once, but General Hospital could be throwing a giant Brando-sized obstacle in their way. As if Jason and Sam didn’t have enough to deal with!
Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be surprising for Sam and Brando to hook up after that fiery scene together. There’s a thin line between love and hate on a soap. It’s easy to imagine Brando and Sam’s dislike for each other fueling some passion. It’s a common soap trope we can’t ignore after the warning signs GH just presented.
On the other hand, it’s possible GH was simply doing a little chem testing – just in case they want to do a Sam and Brando pairing in the future. Regardless, this is something to keep an eye on.
