General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that William deVry (ex-Julian Jerome) recently spoke out about his fatal exit from the show. Since soaps have been known to bring plenty of characters back from the dead, some GH fans have been holding out hope that Julian might return someday.
Stranger things have happened in Port Charles, especially since just about any character could have an identical twin out there.
However, deVry sent out some tweets to reiterate his earlier stance on the matter. In the weeks leading up to his departure, deVry tweeted about how Julian wouldn’t be back if he left. Now deVry suggests he was trying to give viewers a hint about just how ugly and final Julian’s exit would be.
“I tried to explain without saying it out loud. LOL It’s bad. Very bad,” deVry admitted. Julian’s corpse was shown in a body bag, so deVry argued that there’s no coming back from this.
Even when GH fans posed scenarios of how General Hospital could still bring Julian back to life, deVry took time to shut down many of those theories in a string of replies.
“No miracles this time,” deVry said to one fan. “It’s over. LOL,” deVry told another. The now former General Hospital star also specified that there’d be no twin revelation, but he later clarified that at least he wouldn’t be playing a twin of Julian’s down the road.
“If he does it won’t look like me,” deVry said about the idea of Julian having an identical brother.
In response to a fan who said never say never, deVry was quick to reply, “Never.” It’s clear that deVry is quite adamant that he’s not returning General Hospital and still seems pretty bitter about Julian’s gruesome exit.
“GH had a great thanksgiving blast, and nothing says Christmas holidays like a body bag. Was so nice to have me die on my dad’s death anniversary,” deVry said in a biting tweet.
After Kin Shriner (Scott Baldwin) offered some supportive words, deVry hinted at big plans for primetime. Although deVry was sorry he got killed off, he noted that as soon as he gets on a primetime show, he’s going to “bug them” until they bring Shriner on, too.
Bottom line, deVry maintains that he’ll never be back on GH and seems to be looking to the future now. We’ll offer updates as other news comes in. General Hospital spoilers say the aftermath of Julian’s death will bring some tough moments for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), so stay tuned.
