General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will soon be making some rash decisions. As GH viewers know, she’s just arrived home to find her boyfriend Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in a major makeout session with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). That’s a move clearly designed to push Willow into marrying Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and it looks like it’s probably going to work.
Of course, the reason that Chase and Sasha set up this staged makeout session is because they know that Michael’s chances of winning custody of Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) will be far greater if he’s married to Willow.
But Willow has been reluctant to even consider marrying Michael because of the strain it would put on her relationship with Chase.
Well, now that Willow’s heart will have been broken by Chase, it looks like she’s going to reconsider the whole marriage idea, so it probably won’t be long before we see Michael and Willow get married.
That’s sure to take Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) and her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) off guard for a while, but chances are it’s only going to lead to more problems for Willow and Michael down the road.
After all, Willow and Michael aren’t going to be able to just up and get an annulment right after the custody hearing is over. Custody of Wiley will probably be an ongoing issue going forward, so Michael and Willow will likely have to stay married. That’s probably going to be harder than it seems in the long run.
In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if there was even more drama coming Willow’s way. What if Willow were to find out that she was pregnant with Chase’s baby soon after she marries Michael?
That would certainly be a very soapy situation, and it would get complicated, especially since Willow would probably be forced to pretend that the baby is Michael’s in order to further the ruse that she and Michael have a real marriage and a real relationship.
We can just hear Dianne Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) saying that it will ruin Michael’s chances of maintaining custody of Wiley if Nelle and her lawyer even suspect that Michael isn’t the father of Willow’s baby.
That would put Chase in a terrible position – he’d probably have to sneak around in order to be even a remote part of Willow’s pregnancy. It would be a real mess.
We’ll see what happens here, but it just doesn’t seem like this sham marriage between Michael and Willow is going to be good for anyone, except maybe for Wiley. The whole thing could lead to a lot of misery for Willow, Chase, Michael, and Sasha.
And if Willow does find out that she’s pregnant, then they’re all going to be in a real predicament, that’s for sure. Do you think that Willow will marry Michael, only to find out that she’s pregnant with Chase’s baby?
