In the morning, the men find a message, it’s a pop quiz, “please find a tablet with your name on it in the dining room. You each have 30 minutes to complete your test before it’s back to school time!”
Alan is not a test maker, he is nervous. Keith went to Yale, he is excited about this. Jason grew up in a small town and have never seen a test like this, and there is no way to cheat. A school bus shows up outside to pick up the men.
The men arrive at a school, Kristen welcomes them to Genius vs. Gents. Intelligence is important to Kristy. Greg and Kristy are first. The men have a hard time, the kids are so smart. When the men took the tests early that morning, coming second with an 83 was Keith and with 91, Marcus. Now it is Kristy’s time for some questions, Kristen asks her, “who in the house would she most like to go on a cross-country road trip with?” she says Keith, “who in the house would she like to introduce to her sister?” she says Kyle, “who in the house would her parents like best?” she says Gary, “who in the house would she asks for advice?” she says Stewart, “who in the house would she most like to dance in the rain with?” she says Allan, “who in the house would she most like to change a tire with?” she says Kyle.
Later the men are working out and they talk about the fact that Kyle got two positive answers, he’s got the inside track, the front runner at this point. Kristy shows up at the men’s house to hang out with them for a while. Jason asks Kristy to go downstairs to enjoy some quiche and to talk. He plays a drinking game with her, he wins and tells her that she owes him a kiss. He hugs her and it looks a little awkward. Angelo interrupted, Kristy appreciated it. He tells her that it has been ten years since he has been in a serious relationship because he was busy focusing on him and his relationship. Upstairs, the men ask Jason what they did downstairs, he tells them they played quarters; they all looked surprised. Matt interrupts and tries to quarterback the conversation, Keith gets irritated at him.
Matt says he had a date with her and he had an inkling that Kristy is not that kind of girl. There is another message, a surprise! Kristy gets to invite the two men of her choice, one will meet her tomorrow and the other starts tonight. Kristy returns to the room. Kristy chooses Stewart tonight and tomorrow, Walker. The room goes silent, she asks the men if she killed the mood.
Stewart shows up Kristy’s place and she surprises him by telling that they are staying there. She takes him into the kitchen and asks him to read the message on the screen, “parenthood sometimes means you have to make your own romance at home. It takes a dash of love and a sprinkle of teamwork., have fun.”
Trent is looking for his stuffed cat, Snoots. He is not going to leave any stone unturned, any bed unturned, until he finds Snoots.
Stewart and Kristy are talking while they make dinner together. He tells her that his father suffered from addiction, his parents are divorced, and his mother is his best friend. There is a knock at the door, Trent shows up with Jason, he asks Stewart if he took Snoots. Stewart was upset at first, but the two made of asses out of themselves. Kristy tells Stewart that she was married before, she is divorced. The good news now is that she believes that she deserves a good life. They hear music, and Kristy thinks she is being punked. Outside, there is a quartet, the two head outside and dance. Kyle is looking out the window, he is a little jealous. Stewart tells Kristy that he has the tinglies, he kisses her and she kisses him back, he says it felt magical. He gives her a big bear hug and gives her an adorable laugh.
The next morning, there is a message, “Walker pack your bags, you’re going on an overnight trip.” Just when Marcus thought he had the best date, Walker gets an overnight.
Walker and Kristy head to Tybee Island, they go on a boat. He tells her that he has his hands in a lot of businesses, one is a solid gold debit cards. Kristy is a little worried that if Walker has himself busy with so many businesses, is he ready for fatherhood. They take a romantic walk on the beach. She is questioning if she can be with someone who is a funeral director.
The next day, Walker returns, the men ask him about his date. He says he went to Savannah, it was great, and he would be blown away if he went home. The men all get ready, it is time to see who is going to be going home.
Kristy is sitting with Kristen, she says that she now has a better idea of who the men are. Walker, Angelo, and Jason are in the bottom three who Kristy wants to have a conversation with. She meets with them and asks Angelo to chat first. It is now two weeks in a row that she wants to talk to Angelo. She thanks him for taking the time to speak to her this week, but she doesn’t feel that there is a connection there, and she doesn’t want to waste his time. When he is leaving, he says to the camera that she is a four at best, he dates tens and twelves.
Next, she meets with Jason, she tells him that she thinks that they are not on the same page and she doesn’t see them starting a family together. He pees on the lawn, and then he leaves.
Last, Kristy meets with Walker, she tells him that she had a great time on their date, she felt good about him from the beginning. On paper, he is everything she wants but she doesn’t think they are the right match for each other. She starts crying, tells him that he is an amazing person, but she is trying to go ahead with what she feels. He says he wishes she felt differently, but he wishes her the best. Walker feels completely blindsided, but he is happy that if she doesn’t feel it, she let him go. This had to do with Walker being a funeral director, she couldn’t imagine having that in her family.
THE END!
