Alvin comes to see the girls. He has booked them performance in Homestead. He is going to take them to the top. They tell him it a trial run but he knows she can do it. Miami Tip comes in and laughs that he is their road manager.
Primadonna goes to meet Amara. They talk about Emjay. Annie shows up, Emjay’s ex from years ago. She tells her home Emjay is lazy and will never get a job. Amara tears up. It all sounds very familiar.
Amara goes home and gets into a fight with Emjay about Annie. He thinks no-one wants to see them happy. It is all lies and she doesn’t even want to hear his side. She tells him he knows what this means. He starts to throw things around and gets mad. Amara’s mom has to calm him down and tells him Amara needs some time.
Trina and Joy meet for drinks. Trina is upset about her mom. She doesn’t know how they could celebrate her. They both have difficulties ideas. Trina does think Trick could use some time away.
Alvin shows up with a van to take the girls to their performance. He is a little late and they have noticed. Suki wants to know if they are there yet. They arrive at the hotel. It isn’t five stars. They are annoyed. They get out of the van to try and hitch a ride. Alvin gets them to go into the hotel but they still aren’t happy. They call for a ride and leave.
Emjay visits Shay after leaving Amara. He tells her all about their fight and Annie from 10 years ago. Shay thinks Annie sounds bitter. She also wants to know why Amara did not stick up for him.
Alvin and Bobby arrive where the girls are supposed to perform but the place isn’t busy at all and it’s a run down. They mingle a little with the locals and decide to try and perform. Hood Brat comes out first and scars the audience with her language. They all cringe and go quiet. Suki refuses to perform. KaMillion performs next, shaking it all over the bar and the pool table. They chant for Suki to perform next. She finally does and they love her.
