Jonethen didn’t like it when people called him what he was. He got an attitude and he eventually rushed out because he didn’t want to deal with Connie’s friends anymore. Jonethen cracked so easily under pressure that it was clear he wasn’t willing to fight it out for Connie. Connie got her answer when she saw Jonethen practically run away and KC got hers when Drew chose to stay. Drew took the verbal beating that he was getting from her mother and aunts. He took everything and he stayed. He stayed and he gave real answers. He said one of the reasons he could be pushing KC away is because he came out of a bad relationship some years ago and he hasn’t quite put it behind him.

Drew confessed that he was attracted to KC. He did say he needed to lower his walls some and so he was at least open to change. Jonethen wasn’t. He actually blamed her friends for grilling him for why he left. He said they weren’t willing to listen to him and that’s why he left. He made such a big song and dance out of it that Connie apologized to him for her friends. She agreed with him that her friends were the ones that were out of control. She also tried to use her and Jonethen being on the same page about her friends to jump into his lap. She was probably hoping to kickstart something only it didn’t work out. Jonethen dropped her back into the sofa.

Jonethen and Connie don’t kiss or look into each other’s eyes. They were a bit like friends. They weren’t full friends because Connie kept wanting more and Jonethen refused to give it to her. It was more like Mishel and Steve. The couple had dinner with Mishel’s family and her mother didn’t really approve. She could tell, like everyone else, that Mishel and Steve were not in love. They weren’t a real couple and some questioned why they were still in the experiment. Another tough one from the family was Lizzie’s homestay. Her parents really put Seb’s feet to the fire with all their questions. They wanted to know why he was a personal trainer as well as how much he makes.

Lizzie’s mother was also very serious about wanting Seb to have savings if he was going to date her daughter. The whole exchange was intense and awkward. Lizzie even felt uncomfortable watching it. She asked her mother to calm down at the time. But later, Lizzie realized that her mother brought up a few good points. Seb has been drifting some. He hasn’t found his dream job yet and Lizzie’s family wants her to find someone who was financially stable so that they could take care of Lizzie. That wasn’t what Lizzie wanted for herself necessarily. She really likes Seb and she told him as much when they got away from her family.

Lizzie may want her mother’s approval, but Seb gets her in a way few others will and so she’s happy. She’s happy with him. They returned to Sydney in a good mood and so did everyone else. The couples all came out of the homestays pretty much unscathed. Some of them even came away from the visit on much better footing with their spouse. KC and Dew were doing better as a couple and their intimacy level has risen a thousandfold since she asked him if he was attracted to her. KC and Drew were doing so well that they genuinely looked forwards to the dinner party tonight. Only it turns out the dinner party tonight is going to be different.

The experts have thrown a spanner in the works. They usually ask the couples some tough questions when they’re on the couch and so they were changing things up by handing that same power to the other couples. The experts were giving the other couples a chance to ask each other questions. They weren’t asking each other out in the open. They were instead filing out these feedback cards to hand to each other. These cards held tough questions. They also livened up the evening. The couples were talking about bunions and dance recitals when the cards were finally handed out.

Lizzie went first. Someone asked her why she thought she was an expert when she’s been there the shortest amount of time and she was asked if she’s willing to move to be with Seb. She said she wasn’t prepared to move only it was okay because Seb said he’d move for her. Seb also got defensive about the question of Lizzie being an expert. She never said she was an expert. Her husband was on her side and that was enough. Lizzie and Seb were able to make it through their questioning just fine. It was when the questions were pointed out Connie and Jonethen that it became a problem.

Jonethen gets defensive whenever he asked tough questions. He was like that with her friends and he was like that tonight. Jonethen was so very touchy with Connie. He was constantly touching her and then putting distance between them at the most inopportune time. He was never just honest with her. Jonethen was asked several questions tonight and he managed to hide from most of them. The only one he answered was whether or not he was attracted to Connie. He told her tonight that no he wasn’t. Jonethen was finally honest and he told Connie that he wasn’t attracted to her. He then added how she was a very attractive woman and once again he was giving her mixed signals that went nowhere.

Drew and KC were asked about the moving thing. Both weren’t sure if they were ready to move and then they were asked if they had sex yet. It turns out they have. It’s a recent development for them and it brought them closer together. Moving on with the questions. Steve was asked when was he going to kiss Mishel or be anything other than a companion to her. This question made Steve get defensive. He wasn’t ready to sleep with Mishel and Mishel was fine with that. She made her peace with it. Mishel has made peace with Steve’s actions because she hasn’t thought of anything else or what’s best for herself. And thankfully KC helped her realize that yes, she does want more.

Mishel wants to be wanted. She told her at the start of this that she wasn’t going to change for a guy and that’s what she did. She didn’t realize it until KC asked her if she wanted someone who tears her clothes off. The answer to that question was yes because Mishel does want more and she knows now that she deserves more.

And Michael was asked if he did cheat or not and unfortunately he’s still claiming he can’t remember.

THE END!
