British royals news reveals a Pippa Middleton news update that some CNN anchors struck up a conversation that could be re-igniting a debate about the appropriateness of Pippa Middleton’s dress at the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Some CNN news anchors debated Pippa Middleton’s comments that were made back in a 2014 video, in which the anchors spoke about Pippa’s comments about her attire for William and Kate’s wedding. Pippa said that perhaps her dress, which was a white Alexander McQueen number, “fit a little too well.”
One of the CNN hosts said on the news program that “It’s a shocking admission from Pippa Middleton, you know the dress she wore to her sister’s wedding in 2011. The one that had people say, wait a second, who are we really supposed to be looking at today? Well, now Pippa is saying that the dress fit a little too well.”
A second anchor then explained that the dress was an Alexander McQueen, and the first retorted back that he didn’t care who made the dress. The second anchor then fired back, “Why is everybody so whacked out? And saying it fit too well? It seems so innocuous that comment. Yes, she was stunning yes, she upstaged the bride, ok!”
The debate about the appropriateness of Pippa Middleton’s dress still rages on today, with people still commenting on the CNN video snippet on YouTube. One person recently commented: “She looked great but ‘upstaged the bride?’ I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more beautiful or elegant bride than Kate.”
Someone else commented: “So what! People get over it. So judgmental.” And someone else said: “Pippa looked gorgeous. No need to apologize.”
Yet, Pippa did get criticism in the comments as well. “She knew perfectly well that all the cameras would be focused on her back,” someone said. “She’s just a very good liar, lol. Everything was down on purpose. She became more elegant just before her sister’s marriage…she wanted the paparazzi to take pictures of her so that she could find a wealthy man to marry…”
