Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 12-month-old son, Archie, is taking some big strides. Archie recently celebrated his first birthday, and he’s currently living with his parents in lockdown in Los Angeles. But that’s not stopping the happy little boy from thrilling his parents with the new words he’s learning.
According to Us Weekly, Archie is currently saying some words, such as “dada,” “mama,” “book,” and “dog.” The magazine’s source also said that Archie “loves playing hide-and-seek and using building blocks.”
The source also reported about how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are spending their time when they aren’t doting on little Archie. Harry and Meghan “enjoy binge-watching Netflix, playing Scrabble, and cooking.”
And according to Elle Magazine, Archie is now holding onto furniture and starting to walk. He definitely sounds like a gregarious little boy who loves people and is happy and healthy, and a source for the magazine also says that since stepping back from their royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are “happier and more relaxed.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also focused on the upcoming launch of their non-profit organization, the Archewell Foundation. Although the launch is in limbo right now due to the coronavirus pandemic, a formal announcement should be made in the future concerning what the foundation’s goals and mission are.
Regarding Archewell, the couple has said: “We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters.”
Harry and Meghan continued: “Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right.”
We look forward to seeing the developments with the foundation, and we wish the family the best as they enjoy their time together with little Archie as he continues talking and walking. Be sure to check back here at CDL for more British royals news and updates.
