Reports indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemed to share a common trait when they were senior working members of the royal family – impatience. As royal watchers know, Harry and Meghan are no longer working royals, as they stepped back from their duties this past spring and relocated to North America. Currently, Harry, Meghan, and their one-year-old son Archie are living in Tyler Perry’s Los Angeles mansion.
Well, according to Vanity Fair, insiders who have worked with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are claiming that they have learned some lessons that they’re taking with them into their new life. Apparently, Harry and Meghan “have a tendency to hatch big projects over dinner and expect them to be actioned within days.”
The insiders went on, saying that Meghan “had brilliant ideas, but she was always in a hurry and aides had to sit down and explain that foundations and big projects take thought, time, and commitment, they cannot be rushed.” It seems that Meghan works very hard, and perhaps she expects things to get done a bit too soon.
In fact, in the new book “Royals At War,” authors Dylan Howard and Andy Tillett say that Meghan’s “West Coast energy” alienated her from royal staff. Meghan apparently wanted things done NOW and her days often started at 5am with “text message bombardments.”
Perhaps Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have learned to slow down, given that they’ve put the launch of their new charitable foundation – Archewell – on hold for now. It seemed that Harry and Meghan wanted to launch the foundation immediately upon their step-down from the royal family, but that just didn’t happen.
Archewell seems poised to be a major, thriving charitable foundation, and it will surely take time to get it up and going. Plus, the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown hasn’t helped matters any on that front.
Sources say that Harry and Meghan want to build something meaningful and to become global philanthropists and high-profile public speakers. And that’s going to take time to develop.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle no doubt want to get their foundation launched the right way, and it’s been said that they’re in “no hurry” at this point. And that seems like it’s a considerable change from the past. Keep up with CDL – we’re here for you with all the latest British royals news and updates.
