Royal photographer Jayne Fincher recently dished to the media that Princess Diana’s heart would be utterly broken over the sorry state of Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship. As the whole world knows by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ditched their royal duties and publicly declared that they would be stepping back as “senior” members of Britain’s royal family. Just this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the United Kingdom for their last engagements.
As many in the U.K. have noticed, Prince William is quite unhappy with Prince Harry’s choices in life especially since Megxit. When Prince Harry met with Prince William for the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, their meeting was unfortunately described as “frosty.”
Jayne Fincher, the royal photographer, suggested in her media interview that Princess Diana would be doing everything in her power to mend her sons’ connection. In fact, she claims Princess Diana would be ‘doing everything to be the peacemaker.’ She went on to suggest that Prince Charles is likely just as devastated. Jayne added that she felt Diana would be shaking Prince William and Prince Harry’s heads together saying, “For goodness sake. What’s going on here?”
Further, Jayne suggested that Princess Diana would be trying just as hard to make peace between Prince William and Prince Harry’s wives. As many fans of Britain’s royals suspect, there is no love lost between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
According to Jayne, Prince William and Prince Harry used to be the closest of friends. As children, they did everything together. At the same time, there may have been indications even as children that Prince William and Prince Harry might one day have a split. Jayne noted that William and Harry have always had vastly different personalities. As everyone knows, those with extremely dissimilar personalities often clash.
Harry was always the confident one, according to Jayne. William, on the other hand, was less so. Prince William was more upset by the media and photographers, while Harry “really wasn’t perturbed.”
Those who have watched the Cambridges and the Sussexes may have gathered the first signs of trouble between Prince William and Prince Harry were when their respective wives couldn’t get along. In other words, the war between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle soon spread to the royal brothers.
Now, royal watchers are claiming that following Megxit Prince William and Prince Harry will never be able to get back to the close relationship they once shared. In fact, according to some sources, “Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family.”
Some fans may wonder if it might not have been this feud that made Prince Harry decide for he and Meghan to quit royal life altogether. From Kensington to Frogmore Cottage, and now to North America, Prince Harry and Meghan’s lives have changed forever.
Many royal fans may find themselves agreeing with royal photographer, Jayne Fincher. Surely both Princess Diana and Prince Charles could not want to see Prince William and Prince Harry at such odds … with one of them leaving the U.K. altogether.
On the bright side, it’s said that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Perhaps some time apart may mend Prince William and Harry’s relationship. Fans everywhere can only hope.
