British royals news reveals that Kate Middleton may have made a stealth move on behalf of Meghan Markle rather early on in Meghan’s short-lived tenure as a senior working royal. As royal watchers know, Meghan and Prince Harry stepped back from their royal roles this past spring, and they moved to North America, where they’ve now settled in the Los Angeles area. But it seems that soon after Harry and Meghan were married, Meghan started having some pretty serious adjustment issues.
Recently, it’s come to light that Meghan Markle felt serious mental distress as a result of tabloid reports and rumors, and that Meghan was frustrated that royal protocol dictated that she do nothing and say nothing in response. It seems that Meghan’s natural instinct was to fight back, and that she was prevented from doing so, or at least felt that she couldn’t dispel some of the terrible stories that were being written about her.
Well, now it’s being reported that Kate Middleton noticed what was going on with Meghan Markle, and that she went to Queen Elizabeth with her concerns. If recent stories are to be believed, it would seem that Meghan struggled in being “number two” to Kate, and that Kate learned through her aides that Meghan was having a tough time. But rather than being confrontative about the whole thing, Kate apparently decided to help, and she enlisted the Queen to help as well.
Authors Andy Tillett and Dylan Howard say in their latest book “Royals At War” that Kate Middleton approached Queen Elizabeth just six months after Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry.
Kate apparently had concerns about Meghan’s behavior that she learned through her aides. From there, it seems that Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth made a pact to guide Meghan through her life as a royal.
But whatever pact that Kate and the Queen made didn’t apparently work to help put Meghan at ease. In fact, in recent court documents, Meghan’s attorneys referenced how Meghan felt unprotected by the “institution” while she was pregnant with her son Archie Harrison, and that it left Meghan feeling serious emotional distress.
Of course, it’s always possible that Kate and the Queen tried to intervene and help to guide Meghan, but that Meghan rejected their help. Or perhaps their help and guidance just weren’t enough to quell what Meghan perceived herself to be going through.
Whatever happened there, Meghan and Prince Harry eventually separated themselves from the royal family, and they’ve very publicly gone their separate way.
Of course, whether Meghan is any happier in lockdown in Los Angeles remains to be seen. It seems that she’s still got paparazzi after her and Prince Harry. And it remains to be seen whether the LA and US press will be kinder and gentler toward Meghan. It probably all depends upon what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle choose to do next.
