The whole family moved to Las Vegas to start over. They were happy there and so it had come as shock to almost everyone when Kody suddenly decided to move. He said that now was a great time to move. He said he was a sound financial decision and so the wives slowly came on board. They initially didn’t like taking their kids out of schools that the kids loved, but once they made that decision to move together as a family, it became all about the move. They wanted to move in time for their kids to start new schools with everyone else and they want to get themselves settled.

Coyote Pass was going to be their future. They bought the land and they were waiting to sell their old properties in Las Vegas before they started breaking ground on their new homes. So, in the meantime, they were staying in rentals. Christine still didn’t have a rental because she made an offer on a house and it was under contract meaning she was the only one without a house. The rest of the sister wives have found places to live and the family was moving them in one by one. Robin was moved into her rental first and next was Janelle

Janelle moved in on a particularly rainy day. She has so much stuff and they couldn’t drive up to the garage because the garage was full of their stuff already. Kody made the decision to press pause on Janelle’s move just because it was so much more difficult. He, therefore, went to Meri’s house where they could drive the moving truck up to the garage. Meri had been excited about moving and so she had no idea what was in store for her with the neighbors. Meri’s neighbors hadn’t liked living near a sister wife.

They came out to gawk at her as she was moving in. The neighbors also proved to be a problem as the day went on because someone called the police. Meri and Kody tried to introduce themselves to the neighbors to calm everyone down and unfortunately, they met people who didn’t even want to shake their hands. There was also another issue with moving. They moved with a bunch of freezers with raw meat and then the freezers started to act up. It could potentially cost them thousands of dollars and so Kody had to fix it before they lost their food.

The family buys in bulk from Kody’s father. They are a plural family so they’re constantly running out of food and so the freezers were a big deal. But so was Meri’s situation which got worse over time. Meri was visited by the owner of the house who asked her if she could leave. The owner didn’t want a problem with the neighbors and so she was hoping Meri would move. Meri didn’t want to move. She thought it would be like running away and that meant she had to seriously consider if she should stay or go.

Meri and Kody did sign a contract. They were completely honest with the homeowner and they received her permission to move into the house as well as film there. It was the neighbors however that decided everything. They kept harassing Meri and so she chose to leave the house. She had to move again and that meant boxing everything back up. Kody was very careful about moving Meri again because he didn’t want the police to show up and so they did everything by the book when they left. They didn’t want any complaints.

The adults also chose to get Meri out of there because they didn’t want those negative people around the children. The children hadn’t liked what was happening to Meri and Gabriel for one had said they should have stayed in Las Vegas. He was the one child that was having the most problems with moving. He hadn’t wanted to leave his team or his girlfriend behind and so he was resenting every moment he was in Flagstaff, And he wanted to antagonize the neighbors even further, except the adults stopped him from doing so.

They spotted that one neighbor that was recording them. Meri chose to wave rather than give them the finger and so she left without getting into a fight. Meri ended up going back to Las Vegas. She had found another house and that house wasn’t available for the next couple of months. Hence Meri was staying in her old house in the meantime. No one was happy about it because the distance was just going to enhance the problems that were already there and sure enough it did. Meri liked one aspect of being alone because there was no one to question her involvement,

Meri was sick of everyone asking her if she was coming. She did try to go with them and the problems there forced her to come back. Only Meri also got to see the changes to the cul-de-sac. They had put up walls between the homes because that’s how they were selling them and so Meri got to witness the destruction of her safe place. Meri actually broke down in tears when she saw what was happening. It reminded her that she was away from everyone and that the family wasn’t as connected as they wanted it to be.

Meanwhile, over in Flagstaff, Kody was in a near panic. He called a conference with all the wives because he wanted everyone to be there as he discussed their financials. The family was in debt. They were paying five mortgages with their homes in Vegas as well as their land in Flagstaff and so Kody’s plans really fell through here. He told them it was a sound financial decision to move. He promised that they would get rid of the houses fast and that’s not what happened. Their finances were now tied up with so many things that he suggested a lean Christmas.

It’s not the first time he suggested this. He’s said in the past and each time Robyn speaks up against it. She said the children have been through enough. They were taken from their friends and family and they couldn’t afford to lose Christmas as well. It would have been cruel towards them. So they focused on selling the house. Janelle was dealing with the sales and she didn’t think they would sell the house until after the holidays. She said Spring and Kody said that would break them if it took that long.

Kody was also mentioning their grown-up kids that they had left behind. It seems it was just now hitting him how hard it was going to be and the sister wives were like “really?”. They all told him what they were losing when he suggested moving. They all tried to get their kids interested in coming with them to Flagstaff and no one was biting. The kids did not want to move there. The parents had enough issues with the kids they move and so Kody later brought them out to Coyote Pass.

The area changed with all the weather they’ve been having. There was now a pond on the property and so the kids all sort of jumped into the water. They were finally getting excited about the place and that’s what the adults wanted. Later, they all went back to their separate cars and left but they met up so that they could dinner as a family.

There was going to be plenty of issues down the line because of this move, but for now, at least, they were happy.

THE END!
