The men are frustrated that Clare did not give anyone the rose at the group date because she had no time with them and she could have spent the time, had she not spent it all with Dale. They want to know what Clare is thinking because they have no idea.

Clare is so falling in love with Dale, she has this connection that she feels like she has known him forever. She feels so connected with him even though she hasn’t known him for a long time. She wants to respect the process, but Dale is who she wants. Chris H. visits Clare in her room. He tells her that they need to have a serious talk. The guys in the house are unhappy and confused, they know what is going on. The path they are on right now, they can’t continue. She says she completely respects the process, to see what works for her and what doesn’t work.

He asks her to be completely honest with him, what is she feeling. She says that she is completely head over heels for Dale, and she knows it is crazy. She says the moment she saw Dale, she felt like it was someone she could connect with. On mother’s day, she checked out his social media and he did a post to his mother who had passed away, and she can relate so much, her heart was heavy. He asks her if they talked before the show, she says none one bit, none one single contact and that is why she is so into this.

She has spent years knowing what she doesn’t want, quarantine has given her a chance to know what she does want. She feels that Dale is her match, he is what she wants in her life. He asks her if Dale is the man she said she was looking for, someone who reminds her of her dad, she says yes. She is in tears, she says that she has waited so long for this. She says she doesn’t know what to do, she doesn’t want to disrespect or waste the other men’s time. She wants to spend as much time as she can with Dale, she wants to let him know how he feels and sees if it is what he feels. He asks her if in her mind this is over, she says yes, he gives her congratulations for blowing up The Bachelorette.

The men are talking, they want more clarity from Clare. They are fed up with all Clare’s time being focused on Dale. Chris H. stops by to see the men, they are surprised to see him. He tells them that he just spoke to Clare, and she is extremely emotional, there is not going to be a cocktail party. Also, there is not going to be a rose ceremony, and he will see all of them tomorrow. Then he asks Dale to go outside with him.

Chris H. tells Dale that he wanted to pull him out not to do this in front of the other men. He goes on to say that the reason for the canceling of the cocktail party and the rose ceremony is that Clare wants to spend more time with him tonight. Dale is excited, he knows he and Clare have a special connection, but he has no idea what this is all about. Clare says that if Dale is not at the same place as her, she will be crushed.

Clare is all dressed up and waiting for Dale, she is taking a big risk, what if he doesn’t feel the same way; she doesn’t know if it is mutual and she is terrified. They are both dressed up, they hug and kiss, then sit down at a private table for dinner. She tells him that for years she was praying for a man that had the qualities her dad had, and a lot of people told her she was wanting too much. He says that means a lot to him, he wants to know more about her parents and their relationship.

She tells him the story of her parents, they met one time and her father proposed three weeks later and they were married three months later. They were married for forty-two years. He tells her about his parents, and he wishes that she could meet his mother, she was an amazing mother. He has grown up talking about feelings and emotions, but after she passed, that changed his life forever. His father was lots, his sisters were lost and this went on for two years. She says she can relate, it took so long to get over her dad’s passing.

Dale says he hasn’t felt the emotions that he has felt towards her, in years. She still doesn’t know how Dale feels and finds it is so scary. Meanwhile, the other men are still so frustrated, and they can see her with any of the other men, but not Dale.

Clare tells Dale she is ready for this, but it is hard for her to talk about how she feels for him – it is so new and they have just started this process. She says she cannot even put into words how he makes her feel. All she knows is that she is so falling in love with him. He says when they met, he felt love, and that is what he came there for and he is not afraid to say it. His heart is open and he is not going to fight it, he has been dying to speak to her.

He kisses her, and she really kisses him back. She tells him that she doesn’t know what is happening. The dinner is over, Chris & Bri from Listen To Your Heart sings for them. Finally telling Clare that he is falling in love with her, Dale says it is amazing. The two dance and hug, and kiss each other. Dale and Clare head back to her room, get comfy on the bed, the cameras stop as the two are making out.

The next morning, Dale and Clare wake up, in her bed. She asks him what he thinks will happen next, he says he doesn’t know. She says they should take lie detectors because nobody believes that they didn’t have any contact before the show aired. Clare says that Dale is the kind of man you get when you don’t settle, he is everything. She realizes that there are some other great guys there, but nothing compares to what she has with Dale, nothing. She can gladly spend the rest of her life with Dale. He didn’t expect things to happen so quickly, but there is still time left to nurture this thing that they have.

The other men have noticed that Dale has been gone for eighteen hours. Chris H. knocks on Clare’s door, he sits down to chat with her. She tells him the night was amazing and she needed that so badly. When the cameras left and they were on their own, he was even better than she thought. She tells Chris H. that she told him she loved him, and he didn’t run away. And, he is in love with her too. She says it is kind of unbelievable and surreal, and she would be so honored to be with this guy for the rest of her life. Chris H. says this is unprecedented, to say the least. The goal was to find a man and fall in love, she did it. He tells her the next step is a proposal. She wants to know when he says tonight, she is going to be an engaged woman very soon. She says this means so much to her.

The men are gathered, they want to know what is going on; they think Clare needs to stand in front of the group and air this all out. She has lost the house at this point, this has nothing to do with Dale, this is her show, she let this happen. Clare visits the men, she tells them that it has been an interesting last couple of days, and she wants to talk to them about it. She says it is hard, they are all such amazing guys, essentially when she got there she was so ready and willing to find the love of her life.

What she came here for, she found, and it is with Dale. They appreciate her addressing them, but they are bummed that they didn’t get a chance. Some are afraid that she is going to get hurt and be devasted at the end. They ask if she has spoken to Dale before the show, she says no. She says she is not going to apologize for falling in love.

They say they were talking to her, and she wasn’t there, she was faking it and should have just admitted that she was in love with Dale after the first night. Some hug her, Jason doesn’t, he is worried about her and doesn’t get it. After speaking to the men Clare breaks down. The men, on the other hand, they are upset and feel betrayed.

Chris H. visits Dale and asks him how is feeling. He says he feels good, he feels relaxed and not stressed. He wanted to tell her how he felt, he is falling in love with her and sees things going further and further. Chris H. tells him that Clare broke up with all the other men, this is the end of the journey. What is next, Clare is waiting for him and she is waiting for a proposal.

Chris H. then sits down with Clare, she is crying. She is so nervous about this step because it usually never works out for her, he tells her that he is sorry for that.

It is late, dark outside, and Clare is dressed in a white long dress with rhinestones around the collar. She walks towards a small table that has one rose on it, she is waiting for Dale and Chris H. comes out. Clare looks very surprised, he tells her that they are so proud of her and if she is ready, he will go get Dale. Dale arrives, she pours her heart out to him and tells him that she loves him. He says the moment he got out of the limo, there was no denying it. He tells her that he loves her too, the best is yet to come and he wants to make her happy each and every day.

Dale gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. The ring is gorgeous, she tells him to put it on her finger, she has waited a lot of years for this. She gives him the final rose, he accepts. He jokes that she is going to hurt her wrist carrying that ring around. He picks her up and carries her away.

The men are apprehensive about going home, Claire put them through a lot. Chris H. visits the men the next morning, he tells them he is sorry that they put their heart on the line and their lives on hold. He tells them that she swore up and down that they did not have a relationship with Dale before the show. And, last night, Dale got down on one knee and proposed. They left the resort together. Chris H. says the ultimate goal was to find Clare love and they did. Although, he feels that they got cheated and that causes them to do something historic.

Their journey is not over, the men all laugh in disbelief. Each of them needs to make a decision, can they look past their feelings for Clare and move on. If they can’t get past it and want to leave, he will respect that. Chris H. says they need to make a decision by that evening if they want to stay or leave. If they want to stay, they need to be dressed and join him for a cocktail party. Blake is so messed up, he can’t believe he just has to get Clare out of his head. A lot of them find it hard to think about Clare for months, and now switch over to someone else. Bennett is excited about a fresh start. Jason says it hurts, he took this journey and opened up a lot for this woman, he still does care about it and it sucks.

The day passes and it is evening time, time for the men to get dressed and meet Chris H. A lot of them are excited because they didn’t even get a chance to spend time with Clare. All of the men are together, waiting for Chris H, who walks into the room. He tells the men they look sharp tonight and it means a lot that they want to continue, they didn’t really have an honest chance to find love.

He says if they take this leap of faith, they will have a chance to find love. Their new bachelorette is on her way now, they have a brand-new bachelorette. She is smart, independent, beautiful, kind, and charismatic. They are going to start the bachelorette all over again. The big question, who is she.

Tayshia Adams comes out of the limo, she was one of the women that was vying for Colton Underwood’s heart in the bachelor.

THE END!
