The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, August 20, reveal that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) continued their tense discussion at Brooke’s place. Ridge insisted that Brooke was the only woman he loved, but Brooke lashed out, saying that Ridge had divorced her and married Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards).
Ridge refused to stop fighting for them, and he reminded Brooke that they overcame all their troubles with Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) back in the day. “If we can get past Stephanie Forrester, then no one can stop us,” Ridge said. Ridge said that he was going to get Shauna to sign the annulment papers asap, and that they could overcome everything that had happened.
Together, Brooke and Ridge rehashed all the recent past – their disagreement over Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Brooke kissing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), and Ridge running off to Las Vegas with Shauna.
Ridge reminded Brooke about how he had to chase her to Dubai and Bill threw him out of a helicopter, and about how she had kissed Bill recently, and he admitted that running off to Vegas with Shauna was stupid.
Ridge went on, saying again that Brooke was the only woman for him, and finally Brooke said that if there was a chance for the two of them, then she’d take it. “What are you saying? Are you forgiving me?” Ridge asked. Brooke said that she was forgiving him, and she and Ridge kissed happily.
At the Forrester mansion, Shauna welcomed Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) for a visit. Flo said that she and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) had gone away for a few days, but that they were back now.
Flo wondered why Shauna wanted to meet with her, and she specifically wondered if something happened in Las Vegas that Shauna wanted to talk about. After a little hesitation, Shauna revealed that she and Ridge got married in Vegas.
Flo was stunned, and off-screen Shauna told Flo the whole story about the wedding. Shauna then recounted how the Forrester pilots dragged Ridge home before their wedding night could take place.
Shauna assured Flo that eventually everything would be good with the marriage, and that she planned to spend every moment making Ridge happy.
As she was telling Flo the story about what happened in Las Vegas, Shauna left out the part about how she used Ridge’s phone to text Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and how she and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) conspired on what happened that night.
Flo was happy for her mom, and she told Shauna that she deserved all the happiness she’ll get.
At the cliff house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) directly asked Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) for more pain meds. Finn said that he’d rather see Steffy on over-the-counter meds now, but Steffy said that those meds weren’t working. “Please, I really need your help here,” Steffy pleaded.
Finn noted that he was walking a fine line, and that the prescription meds aren’t something that Steffy should be on for long.
Steffy said that her pain level was still too high, and she asked for one more refill. Finn said that the drugs were a slippery slope and that she needed to be careful, but that he’d call in the refill.
Finn called in one refill only, and Steffy thanked him profusely. Finn warned Steffy that she needed to be judicious with the prescription, and Steffy said she would be. “I’m good at goals,” Steffy said. “I’m guessing you’re good at anything you put your mind to,” Finn replied.
