The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there’s one character who could use a jolt of drama. B&B fans know Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) was duped by Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who faked a terminal illness in hopes of winning him back.
However, that story came to a rushed conclusion – and there was never any real risk to Wyatt and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) as a couple.
Wyatt was always clear about his love for Flo, so B&B just had Sally spinning out and making a fool of herself. Ever since Sally’s plan was exposed, Wyatt and Flo have been coasting along on cloud nine.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Flo and Wyatt will argue a bit over their mothers soon, but that’s probably not enough drama to really pull them apart.
Although Wyatt will defend Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and Flo will defend Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), both women were culpable in their own ways.
Quinn was obviously bossing Shauna around, but Shauna is an adult woman who could’ve stood against Quinn and refused to take part in the scheme to manipulate Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
With that in mind, it’s tough to imagine Wyatt and Flo fighting over their moms for too long. It doesn’t seem like some relationship-ending blow for them to argue about Shauna and Quinn.
Couples argue about their mothers all the time! Wyatt is a long-term cast member who needs a bigger story to raise the stakes and offer real drama – and we can think of three ways to make that happen.
1) The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: New love triangle
Ah, love triangles! The tried-and-true B&B strategy to cause problems for a happy couple! It’s a classic tactic that works well, so maybe The Bold and the Beautiful should throw someone else into the mix with Flo and Wyatt. Adding another guy or gal to offer temptation might be the way to go.
It’d be fun to watch Wyatt end up torn between Flo and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), especially considering Flo’s role in the baby switch.
Then again, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is single – and Flo’s quite similar to his old obsession, Hope. Wyatt could easily battle Thomas for Flo. It seems like Wyatt would get a good story whether he was being fought over or the one doing the fighting!
2) Embrace Wyatt’s inner dark Spencer
Another great strategy to inject drama would be having Wyatt embrace his inner dark Spencer. If Wyatt becomes a bit cutthroat and more like Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is at his core, it might cause some issues in his relationship.
Darin Brooks has been vocal about wanting to see more of Wyatt’s dark side, so maybe B&B should give him what he wants!
3) Wyatt and Flo baby drama erupts
Babies usually bring joy on soaps, but they can also bring plenty of drama along with them. If cheating is involved, that can set up a paternity mystery and massive secrets. Accidents and miscarriages can happen. Birth complications and switches can happen, too.
A baby could kick off any of that, so perhaps The Bold and the Beautiful should pull the trigger on a pregnancy for Flo and bring some shockers for Wyatt. It could move Wyatt into a new chapter and make him feel more like a leading man again.
