The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have to transform his life – or what’s left of it! B&B can’t let Thomas keep running amok, especially when it comes to how he treats those closest to him. Thomas was willing to manipulate Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes) and others who cared about him.
Thomas works well as a bad boy, but maybe it’s time to let someone else take the lead in that department. It’s not like any changes Thomas makes have to be permanent. Thomas can always resort to terrible tactics down the road, but he probably needs to stay on the straight and narrow for a while.
That leaves the door open for another leading man to play troublemaker. We’ve had a problematic Forrester for a while, so this would be a good opportunity for a problematic Spencer to take center stage. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is normally the one scheming and causing issues, but what about Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) for a change?
Darin Brooks has stated that he’d like to see Wyatt go a bit dark and have a little more edge. B&B doesn’t have to go overboard here, but a darker Wyatt would be interesting to see. With Bill and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) as his parents, it’s surprising Wyatt’s mostly been one of the good guys.
Of course, even good guys have their limit! How will this ordeal with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) affect Wyatt? By the end of all this, Wyatt’s bound to feel like a sucker. It could harder Wyatt’s heart and make him a lot less trusting.
Sally faked a terminal illness and now Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) has been injured by Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz). This has escalated into a terrible, dangerous situation. Whether that blow to the head causes memory issues or Flo’s held hostage, Wyatt’s love life could take a hit.
There are plenty more ways for things to go wrong, so Wyatt’s definitely going to be fed up with Sally down the road. That could lead to plotting against Sally and a very different outlook for Wyatt. He may not be the same trusting and compassionate man he was before. Sally might suck all the compassion right out of him and cause Wyatt to embrace his inner sinister Spencer!
Naturally, there’s no guarantee a romance would work out between Flo and this different version of Wyatt. Although Flo will be fed up with Sally as well, she may ultimately want to focus on her relationship with Wyatt and move on. If Wyatt’s hung up on making Sally pay, it could consume him and destroy what he’s built with Flo.
That might be an interesting way to go since B&B could use a new bad boy! Since Thomas’ transformation is looming and Brooks wants to play something edgier, Wyatt would be The Bold and the Beautiful’s best option. We’ll pass along news as other updates become available.
