The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that many fans are eager to see some new pairings on the CBS soap. It feels like B&B tends to reunite the same couples over and over, so why not go for a fresh love triangle? There’s one that’d be sizzling and a bit out of the box, so let’s mull it over.
First, we should put Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) at the center of the action. It’s where he belongs, right? Bill’s still got it and deserves to have a couple of lovely ladies battling it out for him. However, viewers might be a tad weary of Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) constantly fighting over Bill.
Katie doesn’t seem down for that anymore – and that’s good since she needs to have some dignity. Plus, it’s a shame to keep destroying Katie and Brooke’s sibling bond. How many times is Brooke going to betray her sister?
If Bill can’t make it work with Katie, Brooke would still be better off steering clear of him – at least if she wants to make repairing the damage with Katie easier.
Besides, Brooke is committed to fixing things with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at the moment. The Bold and the Beautiful has a chance to let Bill move on with someone different.
What about Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards)? Shauna shared a one-night stand with Bill many years ago, and she was part of a seduction plot to help Katie put Bill to the test.
There’s definitely some chemistry between Bill and Shauna, so why not let them grow closer? However, we might as well take this a step further and make it a fun mother-daughter love triangle!
Bill appreciates the way Flo stepped up to donate a kidney for Katie, and he was impressed by the sacrifices Flo made with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) for Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) sake.
Bill’s the kind of timeless hunk who works well with women his age AND ones who are a bit younger. Let’s say Wyatt embraces his flipping-flopping Spencer tendencies and gets back together with Sally. Even after Sally’s terminal illness plot blows up, there’s still a chance Wyatt and Sally could reunite.
“Wally” was a pretty popular pairing, so B&B may want to go for that instead of sticking with Flo and Wyatt. If Liam can forgive Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for cheating with his father, Wyatt can forgive Sally for pretending she was dying. It would take time, but Wyatt might get there eventually.
If Flo ends up dumped and alone, Bill might sympathize with her. That’s especially true since Bill’s never been a big Sally fan. It’d be interesting if Bill developed feelings for both Shauna and Flo.
It’d be a brand-new love triangle, but it’d still be in line with what B&B likes to offer: women in the same family who want the same man!
