The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there’s been a lot of drama on the CBS soap lately, but there’s been a LOT of focus on Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) head injury and mental breakdown, as well as on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) secret affair.
B&B viewers have watched for days as Steffy and Liam have struggled with their secret, essentially having the same conversation over and over. For a lot of fans, the whole thing is getting tiring, and it’s left many wondering what ever happened to Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) storylines.
Last we checked in with Bill several weeks ago, he was working on making things up to Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and trying to reunite his family with Katie and Will Spencer (Finnegan George). But Bill’s been missing in action lately.
There are definitely some areas where we’d like to see some action pick back up for Bill. One glaringly obvious place that Bill would fit in right now is in helping Liam deal with his angst over his night of lovemaking with Steffy.
Liam’s torn up over having cheated on Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and he could really use someone to listen and offer some sage advice.
It appears, though, that Liam may go to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) for help. B&B spoilers indicate that Wyatt will help his brother as Liam goes through a very dark time.
That could mean that Liam’s struggling with guilt, or that he’s going to confess and needs a shoulder to cry on when Hope dumps him. Wyatt will listen and do his best to help, but let’s face it, he just doesn’t have the experience that Bill does.
Of course, Bill’s not perfect, but he’s gone through things similar to what Liam’s going to be experiencing soon. We’d love to see Bill be a confidante for Liam and help him through deciding on his next move.
Bill could sit Liam down and tell him, for example, that confessing to Hope may not be the best move, especially if it’s due largely to easing his own conscience.
We’d also like to see exactly how Bill woos Katie back, assuming that he’s successful in that endeavor.
It seems like a lot of the interactions between Katie and Bill happen off-screen these days, but it would be refreshing to see Bill really do his best to prove himself to Katie, especially after he was so recently professing his love to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
We’ll see if we get Dollar Bill back on canvas anytime soon, but we’d sure like to see him interacting with his loved ones and just being Bill! Do you miss Bill on B&B?
