The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will need to make some big changes to his life. Perhaps Thomas has been offscreen working on that, but how can anyone trust that he’s truly turned things around? Here are five ways for Thomas to win everyone over with improved behavior.
1) Leave Hope alone
Obviously, Thomas needs to leave Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) alone if he wants to show he’s over his obsession with her. An apology is fine, but Thomas needs to move on after that and focus on other aspects of his life. Thomas became consumed by his infatuation with Hope, so it’s important for him to steer clear of her when he returns.
2) Do what’s best for Douglas
Thomas has made some huge mistakes when it comes to raising Douglas. He let his manipulation get in the way of being a good dad, so it’s time to put Douglas first.
Thomas has to concentrate on giving Douglas the best life possible, even if that means letting Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) take care of Douglas for a while. When he’s truly ready, Thomas can gradually resume the father role.
3) No more hidden agendas
For the longest, it felt like Thomas always had a hidden agenda of some sort. There was constantly one more trick up Thomas’ sleeve. Whether Thomas was scheming to get Hope or push the Logans out of Forrester Creations, there were just too many sneaky plans.
Thomas needs to throw himself into work again and leave any agendas he previously had at the door.
4) Find new and healthy love
Of course, all work and no play makes Thomas a dull boy! He still needs to be a leading man on The Bold and the Beautiful, so let’s hope Thomas will find new love in time. There are plenty of fish in the sea, so the perfect woman must be out there waiting for Thomas. B&B just has to pair Thomas up with someone he can love in a healthy way. No more crazy obsessions!
5) Reconnect with family and make amends
Thomas also needs a chance to reconnect with his family and make amends. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was quite upset after that wedding debacle, so Thomas should apologize for playing his father.
Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) deserves an apology, too. Maybe Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) could even get back in the mix since it’d be beneficial for Thomas to have lots of family support.
