The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there’s one thing the show’s in desperate need of: a new love interest for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Steffy’s bound around from Spencer man to Spencer man long enough! Many fans are especially tired of Steffy always signing up for more heartbreak with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Loving Liam only means pain since he’s such a flip-flopper.
Liam’s always going to end up back with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), so it’s good that “Lope” has reunited. That frees Steffy to move on with someone else, which is where this new love interest idea comes in. The Bold and the Beautiful could really use a fresh face and some new blood. Steffy needs to fall for someone she doesn’t have to share.
Love triangles are a crucial part of B&B, but it’d be nice to see Steffy find love with someone different without any competition. The show could always do a triangle later, but for now it’d be great to see true love bloom. Steffy’s earned that story after fighting for Liam repeatedly only to lose him in the end.
Here’s Steffy’s chance to win the heart of someone new, but who should play her fresh hunk? Ever since The Young and the Restless fired Daniel Goddard (ex-Cane Ashby), there’s been a big push by his fans to get him on The Bold and the Beautiful. Goddard might be an interesting way to go if B&B wants to cast Steffy’s next love interest.
It’s easy to imagine Goddard playing some Forrester buyer or even an exec from a rival company. They could take the “hate turns to love” route if there’s competition or just have them click right away.
Of course, some viewers have suggested a love interest outside of the fashion biz. Goddard could pull off a believable doctor, which would be excellent for any future medical stories the show might want to do.
Regardless, Steffy could meet this handsome guy with a fantastic Aussie accent. Cupid’s arrow might strike when she least expects it! Steffy could use someone smart, charming and mature.
Goddard could even play a widower with a child – somebody looking for a lovely lady to complete his family again and help him rebuild. He’d be the perfect fit for a role like that.
