The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) may get some devastating news in the coming episodes. Thomas is set to collapse thanks to a sudden medical crisis, so he’ll be rushed to the hospital.
Whether Thomas has a brain tumor or some other previously undiagnosed issue, it’s clear that he’s going to need urgent care.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will figure out what the problem is and make sure Thomas gets the treatment he needs. However, Thomas will be facing a life-threatening situation. Finn won’t be able to offer guarantees that Thomas is going to make it – not at first anyway.
Of course, Douglas’ family may try to shield him from just how bad things are, but he’s a pretty intuitive kid. Douglas will inevitably wonder where his dad is, so Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will have to offer an excuse. If Hope admits Thomas is in the hospital trying to get better, Douglas is bound to have concerns.
This could easily take poor Douglas back to when he lost his biological mother, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey). B&B fans might see a heartbreaking moment where Douglas wonders if his daddy will die like his first mommy.
Since Caroline lost her life suddenly following a blood clot, it’s easy to see why Douglas would be concerned about losing Thomas, too.
Hope may have to comfort Douglas as she battles her own worries about Thomas potentially never waking up. Although Hope will want to stay strong for Douglas’ sake, she’ll be crumbling inside.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some terrifying scenes are ahead, but Hope may push Douglas to keep hope alive.
B&B viewers might even see Douglas beg his daddy to wake up – whether by Thomas’ bedside or in his prayers at home. This is certainly the kind of thing that could pull Hope toward Douglas and the family they have with Thomas.
That’ll just serve as one more reason for “Thope” to happen once Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) betrayal comes to light.
