The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) will inevitably find out if Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) marriage crumbles – and it’s indeed poised to because of Liam’s secret.
Liam had a one-night stand with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that may blow his relationship to smithereens.
After Hope finds out the truth, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say she’s going to blow her top. It’s easy to imagine Hope insisting that she can’t get past what Liam did. Douglas could potentially eavesdrop and realize Liam hurt Mommy Hope deeply.
Although Douglas may not get all the facts, he’s a bright, perceptive kid and should eventually sense that Liam’s to blame here. Liam might even sit Douglas down and give a kid-friendly version of why he won’t be around anymore. Liam didn’t treat Hope the way a good husband should, so that might be enough to tell Douglas.
Regardless, there’s the potential for Douglas to turn against Liam for causing Mommy Hope’s pain. If Douglas listens in on a fight or even sees Hope crying, he’ll realize Liam truly devastated her. This would be a great opportunity for Douglas to take a page out of his dad’s old playbook.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) previously manipulated Douglas into doing his dirty work, but no manipulation may be required this time around! Douglas might carry out a sneaky plan or two on his own.
After stepdad Liam’s a bad guy in Douglas’ eyes, Douglas might decide his real dad has changed and is just the man for Hope. It might be interesting to see how Hope and Thomas handle things if Douglas is trying to play Cupid without Thomas’ influence.
Thomas might repeatedly explain that he was wrong before and encourage his son to back off. However, Douglas could still get it in his head that he should be a united family with Thomas and Hope – at least once Liam’s out of the way.
Perhaps Douglas could play a surprising role in bringing Hope and Thomas together as an actual B&B couple.
