The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that The Young and the Restless is capitalizing on B&B’s decision to let a popular actress go. Courtney Hope recently wrapped her run as Sally Spectra, but an Instagram post revealed that she’s now joined the cast of Y&R.
Of course, no details are known about Hope’s character just yet. Hope might give Sally a fresh start in Genoa City or could perhaps play a completely new character who shows up in town. Either way, it’s nice to see that Hope’s going to stay in the soap game.
After Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer) was written out of The Bold and the Beautiful, she landed at Days of Our Lives as Sarah Horton. B&B lost their chance to bring Caroline back, so they ultimately gave her an offscreen death.
Now The Bold and the Beautiful has let another fantastic performer slip through their fingers. The consensus online seems to be that it was a mistake to fire Hope, but the reaction to Hope joining Y&R has been overwhelmingly positive.
People seem thrilled for Hope and are counting on The Young and the Restless to value her in a way B&B didn’t!

Another B&B viewer insisted, “Hopefully whatever character she plays on #YR gets treated better than Sally did on #BoldandBeautiful.” “Somebody’s loss is another’s gain!” said one more fan. “I knew someone smarter than Bell would soon hire her. Farewell Sally.”
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the show must go on, but it’s a shame Sally won’t be finding redemption in LA. Sally and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) deserved another reunion! Alas, “Tally” 2.0 won’t be happening now, but Hope still has a great role in her future – whether that be as Sally or someone else on Y&R!
