The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) secret is on the verge of exposure. One way or another, it looks like that secret will come to light in January – and that means two relationships are going to be in serious trouble.
Naturally, one of those is Liam’s marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but we want to focus on Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) relationship for a moment. There are several things working against Steffy in the aftermath of this revelation, so let’s talk about them.
For starters, Liam has already been an issue in Steffy and Finn’s romance. B&B fans know Steffy’s got a giant portrait of herself with Liam in her living room, so that alone is a red flag. Not to mention the way Liam initially kept trying to butt in Finn and Steffy’s relationship.
Steffy also shares a child with Liam, so it’s not like she can completely cut him out of her life. Liam and Steffy are always going to be connected. Once Finn knows Steffy fell back into bed with Liam, he’s bound to wonder if Liam’s always going to be a threat to their relationship, too.
After the trust is shattered, Finn may not like the idea of constantly worrying that Steffy will betray him again. He may feel like he ignored the warning signs and can’t risk getting his heart broken.
Of course, Finn is also someone who values honesty. The fact that Steffy initially tried to keep this quiet is sure to be a huge problem for Finn.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will prove he’s not a pushover when Steffy and Liam’s cheating is revealed. Finn’s reaction will bring some surprises, so it sounds like he’ll let his anger erupt!
Although Finn’s a pretty calm person most days, he’ll undoubtedly be hurt and furious once the rug’s pulled out from under him. Finn is crazy about Steffy, so his betrayal is going to cut deep.
It seems likely that Finn will dump Steffy after he finds out about Steffy and Liam’s one-night stand. Finn may break things off in a fit of rage and leave Steffy devastated.
Fortunately, time tends to heal all wounds on soaps! Plenty of couples have overcome obstacles and managed to come out stronger on the other side. Finn and Steffy still have a shot at future together, but it does look like they’ll split up for a while.
