The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) may soon have a devastating truth to absorb. As B&B viewers know, when the action left off on Wednesday, November 25, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was over at Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place lamenting about what he saw over at Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) apartment.
Liam thought he saw Thomas and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) kissing in the moonlight, but in reality, Thomas was kissing the Hope mannequin who he mistook for the real Hope.
Liam’s distraught and according to B&B spoilers, he’ll soon start drinking to cope with his emotional turmoil. As it turns out, Steffy will drink right along with Liam, and in their drunken state, the two will sleep together, immediately regretting it afterwards.
Well, it appears that Liam and Steffy may conspire to keep their drunken fling a secret from Hope and Finn. But we all know how things go on soaps – it’s only a matter of time before someone overhears Liam and Steffy talking about their big mistake and the cat’s out of the bag!
It’s going to be an explosive secret and it’s really going to hurt Hope and Finn.
Of course, Hope has been down this road before with Liam and Steffy, but Finn is probably going to be totally blindsided by Steffy sleeping with Liam. Ever since Finn’s come onto the scene, he’s been pretty easygoing about Steffy having a good relationship with Liam for Kelly Spencer’s (Colette and Avalon Gray) sake.
Finn’s been largely unbothered by Liam and Steffy’s friendship and bond, which is a sign of Finn’s deep trust in Steffy.
But how’s Finn going to react when he realizes in an instant that his trust in Steffy was misplaced. We suspect that this may hit Finn really hard, especially since he defended Steffy and Liam to Thomas when Thomas insisted that Liam would eventually bounce right back to Steffy.
Finn’s going to realize that Thomas was 100% right and that Liam was indeed a threat.
Well, we might just see the easygoing Finn disappear and angry Finn take over. Finn will surely be upset and disappointed with Steffy, and he might just dump her on the spot!
Finn’s a no-nonsense guy, and he probably won’t have any problem declaring the relationship over – at least until Steffy gets her priorities sorted out and makes a decision about who she really wants.
As for anger, we suspect that Finn will probably direct the bulk of his anger at Liam, especially after Finn hears that Liam was drinking and involved Steffy in a drunk fest.
Steffy is in recovery from addiction, and she probably shouldn’t be drinking at all, and Finn will know it. Finn might come down hard on Liam for compromising Steffy’s recovery and drawing her into his grand drama.
We might even see Finn blast Liam for just jumping to conclusions about Hope and Thomas. After all, Liam was the one who was griping about the Hope mannequin being in Thomas’ apartment.
Finn might be exasperated to realize that at no point did Liam even consider that he might be witnessing Thomas with the mannequin and not Hope.
At any rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if Finn comes down hard on Liam, and if this is the start of some serious animosity between Finn and Liam.
And what’s Liam really going to say to defend himself in this situation? Finn will have every right to be peeved at Liam and detest him from now on.
