The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will grow closer to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) – and that means opening up to each other.
Some walls have to come down if Finn and Steffy are going to head into romantic territory. That’s indeed B&B’s plan for Finn and Steffy, so they’ll keep inching in the direction of love.
Of course, Steffy has plenty of emotional scarring to deal with. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) has played games with Steffy’s heart – and Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) heart, too.
The eternal waffler bounced back and forth for years, but Hope’s won the battle at this point. Liam is committed to Hope, their future and their family, so that’s been a tough thing for Steffy to accept.
That’s undoubtedly why Steffy’s taken so long to move on. However, getting back together with Liam would only end in disaster. Even if it was a possibility, it wouldn’t be the right call for Steffy.
She needs a new man and a clean slate, so Finn’s the perfect person for Steffy to move forward with.
Steffy just has to let Finn in her heart all the way! Falling for Finn will mean dropping her guard and helping Finn understand that she’s been deeply wounded.
Steffy’s made her fair share of mistakes, but she owns those and is on a better path now. Still, Steffy will have some lingering Liam issues to work through.
Finn may be able to help if Steffy confides in him in the months ahead. Finn may be appalled if he hears the dirty details of Liam’s waffling and how much pain it’s caused.
Finn certainly won’t think Steffy should feel like a second choice. His heart may break for Steffy once he gets the full picture of Steffy’s romantic history.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will indeed help Steffy work through some problems related to her past. Finn will hopefully be committed to treating Steffy right and treasuring their time together.
Perhaps Finn will argue that with him, Steffy will never have to worry about feeling like a second choice ever again!
