The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) concern and persistence could have consequences. B&B fans know Finn’s worried about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), who’s been making troubling comments about Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and can hardly focus.
Although Thomas tried to smooth things over, Finn can tell there’s the potential for major drama here. As a doctor, Finn will undoubtedly want to keep an eye on this situation and intervene if necessary.
Since Finn didn’t see the warning signs with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Steffy sank to the dark place of addiction without Finn realizing it. Finn certainly won’t want it on his conscience if Hope or someone else lands in danger because he didn’t take action.
That could leave Finn more and more determined to get Thomas the help he needs – particularly after Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) makes a startling discovery in Thomas’ apartment. Once Liam presumably finds the mannequin and Finn gets updates, the doc may try talking to Thomas again.
Although Liam will be coming at this from a place of anger, Finn should have some sympathy for Thomas like he would for a patient. That’s especially true since Steffy loves her brother so much. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, so Finn may ultimately figure it out.
Finn will want to get Thomas the mental help he needs, but could Finn put himself in danger as a result? After all, Thomas probably isn’t going to respond well to Finn trying to push him into treatment.
This brings the potential for a fierce faceoff – one that could take a shocking turn. Thomas has proven that he can make risky, impulsive moves. There’s definitely the possibility of Thomas turning violent on Finn under the circumstances.
This would be a great opportunity to pull Steffy closer to Finn and sort of flip the script based on how they met. Finn was right there by Steffy’s side after her accident, so this could set up Steffy’s turn to be there for Finn.
Some gripping, emotional scenes by Finn’s hospital bed would offer Jacqueline MacInnes Wood another chance to shine. It’d be great to see Steffy pouring her heart out to Finn – hoping he’ll wake up and be able to keep all his promises about the future.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers hint at some violence during November sweeps, so we can’t rule out the idea of Finn taking a blow to the head or something along those lines. Steffy might have to support Finn through a medical crisis of his own!
